This is an aboslute true story of my recent experience with the IMPECCABLE.
I'm a 62yr old disabled Vet, guy. Been in the neighborhood for 42 years. Driven by this shop hundreds of times. Was told by a neighbor Village Trans. & Auto is the place to go around here. Thankfully never had been in need of their services. Few days ago. Car needed help. These people at Village Auto. Curt the service writer, Dave the Boss, And all the guys have been outstanding. Coming to pick me up and drop me off. Even bringing me to Bartell's down the road and back so I could get needed meds while car is in their shop. Very seriously unrepraochable kindness to a stranger. I don't like using others words.... But. in this case. When it comes to where to have your auto services done right here. local and trusted. I had self diagnosed the problem and was wrong. They found the real problem. Explained it to me. Then went above and beyond the call. Working as a team Curt and the guys located the almost obsolete part for my old Buick. Got it up here and went to work making the repair so out of the ordinary the job discription was not even in the manual. These guys even changed a hard to get to blown brake/turn signal light in the rear. Before coming to pick me up to get the car. All of this they did, and did it well. And at an extremely fair cost.
Hands down. The best straight forward experience I've even had in a very long time.

The Real Deal
I am a tomboy all the way. Used to rebuild cars with my Dad and 5 brothers. As an adult I have nothing by disappointment when it comes to finding a repair shop that is honest and doesn't try to over charge me for things I do not need done. On a referral I decided to try out Village Auto Clinic. I called and spoke with Ryan one of their schedulers and we made an appointment. I couldn't find anyone to drive me home so they took me home after I dropped off. The repairs were finished earlier than promised and under the estimate. Plus they showed me exactly why I was having the issues I was having with the old parts. I will never go anywhere else and I tell everyone I care about to take their vehicles here too. These guys don't want to just fix your car, they want to be your repair shop for life.

Great accountability and communication
I originally brought my vehicle in to assess a fuel delivery issue. When I had initially picked up my vehicle there were certain things about the repair that were unsatisfactory to me, when I brought this to their attention they didn't give me the runaround or make excuses, they were eager to make it right. Now I have my car back and it's running like a top. We're all human, and their openness about making the job right was refreshing in an age where most service industries want to pump you our the other end and take your money. All things considered, it was a great experience and friendly staff.

I brought my vehicle in for an overall inspection and to get a fuel delivery issue resolved that was causing my car to stall and and eventually not start. They determined it was the fuel pump. Unfortunately due to how inaccessible the pump is in my car I was quoted $1,000 for the completed job. I agreed and we moved forward with it. For updates on the vehicle I had to call every time. The day I was told the job would be done I hadn't received a call so I waited until an hour before they closed to call myself only to be told that the car was complete. I'm unsure if they were planning to call me at all that day. When I picked up my car the next morning I was presented with more issues. The carpet in the hatch of my car was wrinkled and lazily put back in place. My car is running and idling poorly. The fuel gauge no longer works, and the filler neck isn't centered in the window of the fuel door. My car is also smells very strongly of gas even now. I'm unsure if there's a leak somewhere. Long story short, my car runs now, but it still stalls. There's an underlying issue with the fuel delivery. And now I have several other issues to assess. With all of that being said, it would be unfair to not mention that Ryan at the front desk was very polite and professional when we did speak.

Mark said they did a great job. Everything was done right and on time. They did it for a good price. Everybody was friendly and it came out good. He had a good experience with them.
I totally trust Curt for all my auto needs. He is so friendly, caring and helpful if he tells me my car needs something, I know for sure it's true and he is not just trying to add revenue. I really appreciate him, and if he ever leaves, I will follow him.
Tracy said this business follows through with everything and goes beyond just diagnosing the issue. They do not just fix one item and hand his vehicle back to them because they will follow through with it all the way.
