Killer brake job
My friends 80 plus year old uncle brought his 97 E350 in for brakes. W/C Ford replaced front pads, rotors, rear shoes and drums, right rear axel seal. He brought vehicle back 3 months later stating brakes still were not right so W/C Ford replaced front pads, rotors and calipers and charged him again. One of the two visits also replaced outer tie rods and charged him for a alignment, he got no print out. He puts about 5,000 miles a year on it and was told brakes are fine even though he thought they were not. His nephew sent him to me to charge his a/c and first thing I find is his brake booster hose laying in the belts about 1/2 way rubbed through. Took pictures and told him to come back and would check his brakes, parking brake went to the floor. He brought it back 1 week later and first checked the front brakes. Never seen this before they siliconed on his dust caps and could tell someone did not know how to remove them. Brake fluid was dark brown which having the calipers changed you would think the fluid would be clean, not!
Bleed front brakes and proceeded to the rears where as I took the drums off brake hardware fell out both sides. At this point went to W/C Ford to speak to Tim the manager. When asked why they charged him 2 times in 3 months for front brakes he replied how am I to know what happened 1 1/2 years ago. Then we spoke about the rear brakes in pieces with pictures and Tim told Bruce I'll get the parts for you and make it right. Well 4 days go by and finally get notice parts are there. Bruce picked up brake hardware and what do you know wrong hardware and they go it from Orileys not Ford?? Tim had called the previous week and asked what size shoes in the rear. How could he not know they put them on! Well with the wrong hardware brought it back to Tim and asked what they were going to do for this man. Tim told me he worked it out and that was not right. Bruce told me he is going to comp me an alignment because his front tires were getting chewed up and I told him you already paid for that and it was done wrong so thats not a comp. Sum it up he paid 2 times in 3 months for front brakes, rear brakes looked like Helen Keller did them, booster line left to rub through in belts which would have killed him or someone else and a alignment that is wiping out his tires, oh yes aftermarket parts from a factory dealer. Tim basically told me to get out of his department, told him I'm contacting the B.A.R. In all sense of the title "A Killer Brake Job".

Disappointed
I called on Wednesday to book an appointment on Thursday, and i took the day off.. i spoke with Arman to get things ready this way me and my wife don't have to spend long time , I texted him the 2 cars I'm interested in and spoke over the phone about them, he was supposed to send me the pay structure for both car, here is what happened , my appointment was scheduled at 11 am, i called him at 10 40 am in the morning to ask about the numbers, this way when I come to the dealership it isn't a long wait, he said he was busy with another customer ( though this is my scheduled time for appointment) so I told him no problem , just email me the numbers and I'll decide on one and come to the dealership, he said you are not going to like what I send anyways...seriously!anyway I waited till 6 pm I got no emails NOTHING! it was a complete waste of my time, I knew Cary for years he is a great guy, but the way and attitude of the sales person was way beyond unacceptable , I'm definitely taking my business elsewhere, good job Ford, you just keep losing Loyal customers.

5 stars for WC Ford ~ 10 stars for Tom Xepoleas. I purchased a 2015 Ford Focus 3 years ago at another dealership. 3 years and 3 attempts to repair the transmission, I had enough... I was not able to get any help, until I decided to stop by Walnut Creek Ford and lucky for me, I found Tom Xepoleas!! Instead of trying to offer me $5000 for my 2015 Focus and sell me a used car (this is what I got everywhere else) Tom helped me start the process to have Ford repurchase my car under their Re-acquired Vehicle Program. 14 days later, I received a call letting me know I was approved. 12 days later, I turned my Focus back over to Ford and received a check for my full purchase price, minus $290 for mileage. During those 12 days Tom Xepoleas located the perfect new Ford for me, the exact, year, make, model, color and options I asked for. Friday I was able to drive home in my new Ford Escape SEL! she is a beauty and the transmission is perfect. If you are looking to purchase a new car and would like a sales consultant who does not pressure you, but listens and helps with what you need, ask for Tom Xepoleas. Thanks Tom for all your help, for hanging in there with me for 26 days.... and thank you for treating me like family. :)

Good Service
Overall service was great but just took a long time to install a window regulator. I understand that they wanted to get this right so it took a little longer. Tricia Felix is a rockstar and very attentive. Thank you.

The repair work is good but takes a little too long
Everything was good but it took too long (2 weeks) for fixing a small issue.

The personnel are very pleasant
This is the 2nd time I have had my Ranger in for a 'failure to start' problem. Roger, the Service Rep, that took care of me was polight enough to listen through my 2012 experience and listen through the current symptoms. He said he would call as soon as a diagnosis was made, and he did. The shuttle driver was very pleasant as was the cashier that happily took payment. I have on other occasions dealt with WCF parts department personnel and found them knowledgable, helpful and pleasant.
It is sincerely my hope that the starting problem has now been fixed and a return visit for the same problem will be unnecessary. Sincerely John Rector

Good work worth the wait
The rear latching mechanism failed on our new C-Max (seems to be a common problem). After waiting a week for the part, the folks at WC Ford fixed it, and it now works well. We noticed that the engine check light came on because of slightly low oil (1/2 quart after 1000 miles), but we took the car home and added a little oil and reset the oil maintenance alert, so now it's okay.

Service adequate for attention to specific requests.
Brand new car purchased from your dealership. It would have been a nice gesture to clean the windshield....no service above and beyond the basic service.

You guys are great!
Everyone at Ford Walnut Creek is professional, nice, and answer my questions. I just know when I take my care for servicing that it will be running better than when I brought it in. Bottom line is that the Service Department provides excellent service.
