In 3 words "I TRUST THEM ". I own several different vehicles that Western Auto has worked on for me, from new tires, oil changes, replacing wheel bearings, brakes and a/c . Prices are always reasonable. The people that work here are very helpful and courteous.
I have had break problems for over 2 years. They squeaked very loudly. My breaks were new so that wasn’t the problem. This was the 3rd time I had my breaks looked at and there was nothing found. Today Western Auto took the time to find the problem and fixed it. Thank you so much. Also the young girl that works at the counter deserves a shoot out for her wonderful customer service. The only problem is they are so busy make sure you give them a day to do something as simple as an oil change.
I drive to Yorktown from Alexandria because I have friends who live in Yorktown. But I time my trips so that I can get service done by Western Auto on my Toyota, which has 230,000 miles. I have never found a repair shop I like better. Just this last visit, I told them the suspension seemed rough and maybe it needs some new struts after 230,000 miles. The mechanic inspected the car, and said the front ones were leaking. I said should I replace the rear ones as well? He says he didn't see a problem with them. They had the chance to get more money out of me but they chose to be straight instead. I told him to go ahead and replace the rear ones as well. I hope they stay around a long time!
