2000 Dodge Durango

If I could purchase a new 2000 Dodge Durango I would buy 2 of them. I’m not interested in the newer models. Cramped, repair concerns as to rear end bearings, engine issues, etc. The 4.7 is the best engine Dodge has produced for a daily driver. Mine has 267,000 miles on it and doesn’t use a drop of oil. It should have been put in more vehicles like Jeep’s, etc. Exemplary engine in my book. The first Dodge I ever owned, but without this engine as an option, I’ll probably pass.

I have put nearly 100,000 miles on my Durangogo during the past 18 years.

I like this Durango. I waited 4 years to finally get my hands on this vehicle. I bought it in 2002 for $18,900 and have owned it for 18 years. The age of the vehicle is where it has started to need maintenance. The vehicle was used to tow many different trailers and has cargo space and an extra power outlet in rear cargo area. The extra seating, rear A/C and lack of major maintenance issues made this vehicle a top choice and is a reason I keep it around even though I have other newer vehicles. My wife and I routinely talk about our Durango and how great this truck has been for our family and how Reliable it has been!

Durango

The best 4 wheel drive I have ever owned. There are only two reasons why you don't own a Dodge, either you're not smart enough or you can't afford it. Back in the 60's at the drag strip, it was either Dodge against Plymouth or Dodge against Dodge.

Hard working

I own this car for the last five years, is reliable and secure, strong enough for hard work and easy to drive at winter months, specifically for the snow. If I have to get other car must be a younger generation of dodge Durango.
