New Year New Me

Love this vehicle, it's my baby turbo baby. I've actually found a vehicle that fits my vision in my future of where God has in store for me and my family! Love my care, but I think all of my big kids love it more b/c they can't wait to have that test drive :-).

Great new competitor!

So, what a deal compared to it competitors! Thousands less than others in it's class and certainly can match the performance. Some flaws: The handling could be a bit tighter, it is a sports vehicle that has to manage smoothly in any weather. Once in a while there seems to be a slight slip, not sure why...There is some hesitation when you press the gas pedal assertively, then it does kick in high gear and we are at 60 in seconds even with my weaker 2.0 engine. The sound system is also a relatively weak, if I turn it up it struggles with bass and deeper sounds. I'm not sure how I feel about the engine turning off at every stop...some pros and cons with that, this I'll keep neutral. For the positives: Again, compared to BMW and others it's a steal for the price. The design is spot on, only Infinity has similarly intriguing look. The car is light so one always feels a pep in their step. Comfort is nice, seats firm and leg room is way more comfortable than others I've experienced. The dash is super easy to see and everything is easy to access. I get compliments on this car everywhere I go and even from driver's who have expensive and exclusive vehicles. Our 1 year anniversary is coming up and it has been very joyous ride so far, nothing but the normal expectations of a Genesis. Keep the innovations coming!

This is a great vehicle

I love this car, it has amazing pick-up. When it is in Sport mode and you hit the accelerator, it really takes off. Beautiful handling. Very comfortable ride. I gave it 4 stars because Gas mileage with Premium gas is subpar, backseat is very tight, and touchscreen is a bit outdated My last several cars were Audi's with supercharged engines. This 3.3 twin turbo leaves them in the dust. It is fun to drive. Very little exterior noise.

Great Vehicle

I have previously owned the Genesis brand and I have always loved it. I always received great compliments on the looks of the vehicle and that to me is very important. The last one that I had was a G80, but it was totaled. I would have like the same, but pricing wasn't as good as the G70.

This car is a luxury, exquisite sport sedan, I have loved the look of the car since I first saw it last year! I finally made the time to test drive it....it is a beautiful drive, smooth, yet peppy. Great interior design, very high tech which I like! Beautiful exterior. What's not to love about it?

great car to drive

driving G70 is a great experience and this is a fun car with excellent features. Even the size of this G70 fits me perfectly. I would recommend G70 to my friends. One wishful thinking is to having separate Genesis dealer to have better dealer experience.

Love my G70

I am a retired senior citizen and a car crazy individual. I grew up near Detroit, so cars were such a big deal with everyone when I was young. I must admit that now I really am attracted only to beautiful cars, and this G70 is beautiful! The car is gorgeous to look at and to drive. I must admit that I love taking it to the car wash and blow drying and hand drying it myself. It makes me appreciate its beauty all the more, observing every square inch of it.

G70 prestige RWD

Car is fun to drive. Addressing a few areas could take this to the top of the table. Excellent first effort in the sport sedan segment by the genesis engineering team. Please keep the pro's and improve on the con's. Dealership experience definitely need to be addressed to retain loyalty amongst new customers.

Fabulous Vehicle

I wanted a change from my previous vehicle which was a Jaguar XF. I began looking at styles and ratings, which is very important to me. The cost of a new vehicle was also a factor. I wanted to get a sleek, well running car. After researching many vehicles, I knew the Genesis G70 was the one!

Don’t Drive it Because, You’re Going To Buy it.

Was planing to test drive the 2.0t and the 3.3t but, after the 2.0t test drive we realized that there was no more need for speed. The three year free service valet is a plus. We did not realize that it was the car of the year but, it feels like the car of the year. Handled the 260 mile ride through the mountains without any hesitation. Can believe the power of the vehicle.

Love at first drive

This is the best vehicle I've owned in terms of well, everything. I smile during every drive and find excuses to drive as much as possible. The value for the money cannot be touched by any other manufacturer. Previous vehicles included BMW and Lexus 3 series. No looking back. My G70 truly was love at first drive.

Exceptional Performance Sedan ESPECIALLY for the price

When you're not stuck in city traffic this car is a complete and total joy to drive. Engine output, steering precision and handling are exceptional. The sound from the exhaust could be better but the sound from the engine is fantastic under heavier acceleration. City driving characteristics do fall a couple notches due to a little drivetrain lash noted when crawling in traffic and momentary indecision from the trans upon re-application of the throttle after slowing down / coasting. These seem to be less noticable when left in Smart mode. Space is also a little tight in the front for taller drivers and VERY limited in the rear for anyone over 5' 10". The seats themselves, however, look and feel great! Looks are subjective but I and people who've seen my car all comment on how "Gorgeous" it is. It's difficult NOT to look back at it after parking it in a lot AND puts a smile on the face when walking back towards it. It really stands out in a parking lot. Fuel milage is not great, however, given the very high output of the 3.3 Twin Turbo engine, few enthusiasts will be that disappointed. But if you need good fuel economy you will need to focus on the 2.0 T engine. The look and feel of materials inside and out exude high quality for the most part, especially given the price point of the vehicle. Overall I've very pleased that I chose the G70 3.3T RWD.

great car handling and great tech applications. Awesome performance. Has some drivers pillar wind noise,but overall a great car Ride is excellent with adaptive suspension. Transmission shifts quickly and is quiet. Paint quality is highest and seats are very well constructed Overall a great car.

Genesis G70 Excellent Value, Ridiculous Perfomrmance

My 2019 Mallorca Blue Genesis 3.3 TT is a stunning performer. The acceleration and handling is ridiculously responsive. Really fun to drive. Interior seats look and feel great, with the quilted leather. I also am pleased that the controls are of tactile feel, with knobs instead of all touch screen, which is the style du-jour these days. A great handling car, with a premium interior.
