Awesome Sports Car!

The 2019 Genesis G70 Sports Advance is an awesome car! The 3.3 six cylinder engine is quick and smooth. The acceleration is exhilarating! Beyond that, the media integration is intuitive and easily navigated. The Lexicon speakers are tuned to get the best sound out of every genre of music. The leather seats are comfortable and have heated and air-cooled features that can be personalized. The view outside of the vehicle is good and the car sounds good when throttled. The only issues I have with my G70 is that there is some wind noise, the thigh support could be a little more extended, and the back seat needs about another inch or two added for passenger comfort. Those few issues aside, this is a great car that I would definitely purchase again.

My Genesis Service Review

I love my 2019 Genesis! However, when it comes to service and what was promised, Genesis falls very short. Takes 2 hours for an oil change, no loaner car available. I am also concerned that the Hyundai/Genesis dealership closest to me (I did not buy my car there) changed ownership. The Genesis brand was not bought and that makes me question as to why. Is Genesis going to be around during the duration of my ownership; I keep my cars a long time.

Fun car

Love how the car accelerates, barely get beaten at a red light. It handles well, but had to get used the rear loosing some traction when wheels are wet or when the gas is pushed too hard, however now find it being a fun factor of the car. I am not impressed by being able to feel every bump in the road. Wish it had an automatic trunk closer (newer models I believe now have it). Had to jump start/recharge the battery 3x within the first year and a half, I didn't expect that from a new purchased car (sitting inside a warm garage).

Love, love, love this car!! I wanted a luxury vehicle that would be reliable, affordable and came with a great warranty. I looked at other vehicles but none could compare. I shopped online, sent my request to the dealership and found exactly what I wanted when I arrived!

Genesis great style

Many compliments on looks of the car. Will probably purchase again. Good pick up and a/c. Interior lights either not working or they do not come with the car. It is very dark in the car it night while driving and when you open the door. Other car makes have exterior light when you unlock the car. This is very useful.

Great First Purchase into Genesis Family

I've loved the experience with Genesis. No complaints. It's a great value without losing out on the styling and features. This is the first brand where I have bought again. I have traded in for a GV70 only because I wanted to get an SUV but otherwise, I would have not done it. Next owner will be very happy.

Nice ❤️

Beautiful automobile and very well made. The leather is soft and comfortable. The heating and cooling features are on point. It doesn't take long for either option to give you comfort. When the car has been detailed, you can see the stares. I love the attention it brings.

Mom of Twins

Beautifully made vehicle with smooth and safety inspired ride.love and highly recommend this vehicle for any age range. Styling along the sporty side yet elegant. My drawback was when we took a four hour trip for the weekend and my girls, at 5feet 7inches each; we're uncomfortable! After about 2.5 hours in, the girls were ready to get out of the back because of the inability to stretch their legs and readjust.

Still love it 2 years later.

Got the ‘19 G70 2 years ago with only 100 miles on it. 30k miles on it now, still looks and feels like brand new. Only issue was with the starter at around 6k miles, but the dealership replaced it without too much fuss. That wasn’t a big deal. The dealerships suck overall, but I still love this car.

It's a beautiful thing

I own a 2019 G70. It is a beautiful red color and the styling is outstanding. The car performs like it's meant to race. The interior is luxurious and comfortable. Everytime I drive it I am excited to be in it. I look at it and it still makes me happy. I truly enjoy this car.

great vehicle, nagging braking issues

Love the car, however I have had endless trouble with the braking system that has been unresolved for the majority of my ownership of this vehicle. This despite corporate oversight and replacement of nearly the entire subsystem. It’s unfortunate that such a great car can’t be serviced to closure of this issue.

Great driving car with excellent value

Great driving car with lots of standard tech/features including ventilated seats, 360 camera, nappa leather. Genesis built a car with excellent value compared to other luxury brands. But there are refinement issues with the transmission and brakes and the lack of dedicated and separated dealership network is a missed opportunity to build a better brand experience.

Fun to drive

I’ve driven BMW’s for 30 years and have been very loyal until the lease option was too high. I ended up at the dealership test driving the G70 and couldn’t believe that it drove just like my BMW. They styling it was beautiful and it came loaded with things I never had in my other cars like the navigation and cameras.

G70 Twin Turbo 2019

I owned the very first Hyndaui Genesis and couldn’t wait for the AWD model to come out! It is a gorgeous, strong and elegant car that has met and exceeded all expectations!!! I have not yet tried the Launch mode… I love my Genisis! Keep doing what your doing!

Best bang for the buck

Overall this is a nice car. It is the best value in the segment. Fuel efficiency need to be improved though as well as road noise. Infortain screen inside can be bigger. Need to have its own dealership with service department. Online service appointment system doesnt work with dealer.

Best vehicle I have ever owned

I have the luxury of receiving $1000/mo from my business to drive any vehicle I wish. Because of this, and since technology is changing so fast these days, I elect to lease a vehicle and turned them over in 3 years or less so in the past 20 or so years I've driven Buicks, Lexus, BMW's and Genesis (G80 & G70). My last two vehicles have been Genesis which was on the recommendation of the maintenance shop I would take my BMW to. One of the owners said to me 6 years ago as I was getting a regular oil change, etc. 'Have you seen the new Genesis models' I said 'Genesis, what's that'? And so my curiosity was peaked & I had to go drive one. Within a week, I was driving a new G80 & had such a great experience that when the G70 hit the market, thought I'd try that one out. The Dealership allowed me to take one for half a day & within the first hour I was 'I gotta have this car', went back & picked out a new G70. I LOVE this vehicle! It may be the best car I have ever had (and I'm entering the second half of my 60's). The number of comments and questions I get when people ask me about my car is off the charts, especially the color, Siberian Ice. The performance, looks, maintenance program, warranties, everything, is first class. Way to go Genesis! My next car will be another G70, no need to look at anything else.

The after sales service is really bad and detracts from what is a great vehicle. Because of this and if no improvements become evident it is unlikely that i will go for another Genesis. The vehicle I really like, is comfortably and sporty, well built, rear legroom could be better
