excellent car

excellent vehicle, is a better valve then bmw 3 series, has better performance with the3.3 turbo and has many more standard features than bmw. car's perforce was an important feature in my choosing the Genesis over the bmw. Valet service was an important feature as dlr is not as close as I would have liked

G70 3.3T AWD Sport

Although I only have the car about a month, the quality, performance and looks is why this is my second Genesis vehicle. As an original 2015 Genesis (G80 predecessor) I felt the brand provided a quality vehicle at a very competitive price. The past two years I drove an Alfa Romeo which I enjoyed, but going back to the Genesis brand brings another level of technology & quality. I highly recommend the G70.

One year later

One year later this is still the best car I have ever own. It has been so much fun to drive that my wife wanted one. I ended up getting her the 2.0T while mine is the 3.3T. Hands down this car is amazing to drive. The handling, navigation, sound system are all top notch.

This car is amazing.

This car as everything that you could want or need in it. The features make driving so much fun. It looks great and other people notice and love it too. The services that they add in such valet service and satellite radio are awesome. Driving around in this car just makes you feel great.

2019 G70 2.0T Elite Prestige Advance and Sports Package

Great sports sedan for value....exceptional styling a true head turner especially in Ardatic Blue. This is a fun car to drive as a daily driver. Only complaint is the amount of miles I am racking up on my G70 SMH. This is my first Genesis and hoping to trade up to the new 2021 G80 when available. Hopefully car value will hold to allow for trade up.

Genesis g70 3.3t Sport

2019 Havana red G70 fully loaded with Htrac all wheel drive power train system. Good looking, performance as well. Worth for money less maintenance costs, decent gas mileage. Fake exhaust noise pumped in not bad atleast you have that over all an excellent car to drive.

Have driven and owned BMW M3 and M5s and the G70 is exceptional driving experience with worry free warranty. Enjoyable and comfortable ride with sporty look and a car enthusiast dream. Both interior and handling are A rated in my book. Take a test drive and experience the awesome response of this vehicle.

Red gives nice sports and sedan look

Pro: Awesome power, Gas mileage. And the luxury. My personal favorite is cruise control. And auto brake. Rear object approaching warning Also large multimedia screen. Plenty of power. Con: Too much outside noice. At 13k mi. I had to replace starter. OVER PRICED

Outstanding engineering and manufacturing, with all systems intuitive to use. Acceleration is excellent, handling in difficult situations superb, routine driving is high in comfort and usability. Quality is first class for a sport sedan especially.

NICE!

Excellent vehicle. However, don't expect to have passengers sit in the back seat! There is LITERALLY no more than 3-4 inches of legroom (unless the front seats are completely slid forward). I warn my passengers to sit legs up, and criss crossed! The trunk is quite roomy, they could of easily moved back the rear seats, and have had more than enough room in the trunk. Also, the trunk has no depth. The cargo net is the oddest one that I have ever seen! It lays completely flat on the bottom of the trunk, and you are expected to stuff 2-3 small bags underneath it. The net should've been designed to run horizontally, like every other cargo net does. I suppose Genesis wanted to be "innovative" with this odd design, however that idea completely FAILED!

Luxury meets excitement

The G70 is a compact luxury rocket. It gets many compliments and people asking what kind of car it is. The interior is well refined with quality materials. It drives and feels solid. The twin turbo 365 hp engine doesn’t disappoint. The car has multiple drive modes, but I always have it in sport and I love it.

WOW

So like many I thought , who is Genesis. I’m glad my wife and I went to test drive the G70. So glad we did as it looks beautiful in the garage and simply amazing driving down the street. I really am impressed with this car. You would never know that the Genesis is a “new” car manufacturer.

Great looks not so great service

I took a leap and sold my BMW 435 I which was a great car and bought the 3.3T AWD top of the line G70. I even paid extra 1,000 to get Siberian ice color as none were available close by. I love the looks inside and out. I wrapped my mirrors red, wrapped my roof black and added a spoiler. This car is fun to drive (when I can have it to drive ). It’s been in the shop 4 times for a whistling wind noise finally fixed. Door seal. Then took it in for brake pulsating, they deglazed the brakes 9900 miles on a car 5 months old, THEN a slight shimmy in the steering wheel and back at the dealer (without any Genesis to drive as a loaner) 2 more times and for a week the last time. They had to replace all my tires and said Michelin would only comer 75% and they thought I would cover the other 457 ??? Yeah right ! Finally after bitching about all my issues they got genesis to pay the rest. I opened up a claim w Genesis due to these issues! The dealer in Charlotte is awful ! The upper Management could care less about you after they sell you a car! They only person who seemed to help was the service manager. As much as I thought I loved this car and I get complements everyday, I’m not liking the issues within 5 months of owning it ! I would never buy from that dealership again and I’m not sure I would buy this brand again. Back seat is tight no button on the trunk to auto shut it either. Gas mileage isn’t what it claims. Driver leather seat showing wear after 5 months. All in all I really wanted to love this car as I did when I first bought it but not so much as too many issues and not good service. Looks a 10 inside a 7 comfort a7 fun to drive a 9 the rest a 3.

Great car

I new about this model through my cousin, he told me to look into it and I really appreciate it. This car is beautiful and comfortable, more than once I have received a lot of compliments because of it. It drives very smooth, a lot great features. I am not an expert but it has nothing to envy other more known luxury cars.

Super car

I am comparing my 3.3T to previously owned cars 2012 Cadillac CTSV, 2009 Pontiac GXP, 2007 Cadillac XLR. All sporty type performance cars. The G70 excels in all aspects of performance. The only complaint that i have with the car is it's lack of visual distinction. This $45k car is barely noticeable among Accords, Camrys and such. Genesis even copied Chrysler's brand ID, but smaller, wings as hood and trunk emblems. That is the most usual question that my golfing friends ask. What kind of Chrysler is this? Was Genesis afraid to claim this great auto?

Fun!

I own a G90 and I always saw this very attractive G90 sitting on the floor. It was good to look at, but I never considered buying it. Then one day I went to the dealership for an oil change on my SantaFe and saw a G70 in front with a price written across the windshield that was intriguing. I inquired within and the next thing you know, an impulse purchase had been made. That being said, I have zero regrets. It really is an awesome car and because it’s not my primary vehicle, I can drive it just for that purpose.... FUN! I literally only have one complaint about the G70 and that is the infotainment system. It’s the only thing that is identical to anything in a Hyundai. In fact, it’s the exact same infotainment system that I have in my SantaFe. Overall, you’d be hard pressed to find a better value in the same class than the G90. And the best part is I don’t feel like I’m sacrificing anything for the value I get with the G90.
