Awesome Auto

Second Genesis that I owned, great car, no problems, easy on the eyes, lots of important features on this car for safety. Smooth ride, reliable, and top performance. Never been in the shop, good news. Lots of features and good value for the dollar. Great styling, good mileage on the highway

Perfect mix of beauty, power, and comfort at a fair cost

First, dealership experience was great...I normally don't enjoy dealing with car salesmen, but I told them exactly what I wanted (Red G80 3.3T with black interior). They found the vehicle 4 to 6 months after the test drive, and with incentives, the price was fair...I bought it the day they called. I do recommend getting separate Genesis dealerships open quickly, if that's the intent. I did 98% of my research on-line and listened to detailed reviews on-line...I knew I wanted the Genesis G80 before it was even called by that name. The car (2019 model) looks phenomenal, is extremely powerful, stylish, comfortable and quiet. It has a great warranty, is not overpriced, and the performance is more than competitive with other vehicles in its class. Could small things be improved?...Sure, everyone has their opinion, but the G80 3.3T is an impressive car in all categories! It is unique and makes a visible statement versus other vehicles on the road! I had an issue with the transmission and a couple other minors items, however, Genesis fixed the problem quickly and my G80 is running smooth again.

Vibrating G80

I looked at Genesis for 3 years and finally took the leap. My G80 is a beautiful car to look at and turns heads as I drive. The style and amenities are on point. That being said, The periodic vibration in the center of the car at various speeds has soured my overall opinion of the Genesis product line. My car has been in the shop numerous times for the same issue and I'm now being told told its a programming bug in the transmission but no timeline to repair

2019 Genesis G80

This is a nice car but it has some problems that need to be corrected. 1) The engine vibrates at idle speed in drive with the AC on and the vehicle stopped. The AC compressor was changed but the problem still persists. 2) The drivers seat is uncomfortable after 20 minutes of sitting. The side bolsters are too high and stiff. 3) The engine is very noisy at startup and doesn't quiet down until the car has been driven for several miles. 4) The car whistles at highway speeds on cement roads. The dealership was not able to find the source of the noise.

Better than my Audi A5-Sportback

This is an excellent family vehicle. It's ten times more comfortable than the Audi A5 Spotback that I owned for all of eight months because my wife nor kids liked it very much. Therefore I had to go back to this vehicle considering that I leased one back in 2016. It's very sporty unlike the 2016 Hyundai Genesis that I had for three years. Not gonna mention how nice and fast the 3.3T (Turbo Charged) Engine is. I love the Sporty Grill, Rims and the Beautiful Seats with the accenting stitching. Needless to say to buy a New Car that comes with all of the Free Services for 3 Whole Years. Like all of the Manufacturers Required Maintenance Services and The Remote App. I love this car. Looking forward to seeing and Test Driving the New 2021 Genesis G80.

A good purchase

My G-80 is my third Genesis. This vehicle is a very good value. It looks nice and drives well. I am able to compare it with many luxury vehicles that my friends own. While some of their vehicles are upgraded in lots of areas, I feel my Genesis overall can hold it's own. I have not received any negative feedback from any friends who have driven in this vehicle and who own vehicles costing considerably more.

vibration problem

great vehicle, fit and finish is first rate. we are having a vibration problem that can be felt through the steering wheel and the passenger seats. the vehicle was sent in for service to correct the problem. test driving our vehicle after this service it was evident that the vibration was still there

Excellent

Best car I ever owned. My dealer experience was the best I have ever had and the dealer bent over backward to fine the car we wanted in the color an interior we preferred. When we had to send the car in for normal service we did not have to deliver it to the dealer, they came an picked up the car and delivered it back to me the same day. The loaner vehicle was absolutely the best , a new Red 2020 Genesis G 80.

what can I say about my experience with my Genesis but that I love the car, and this is my third Genesis. The car is road worthy, has power and all of the features are excellent. I get many compliments on the car, it's beauty, style, and the color gives it a regal appearance.

2019 Genesis G80 Sport AWD

Instantly fell in love with the vehicle the first time I saw it at the dealership. One test drive and I was sold! Excellent performance from the 3.3L twin turbo engine, excellent ride quality, all the creature comforts I wanted all at an unbeatable value! Highly recommend giving Genesis a try!

I am very pleased overall with the vehicle. As with any new vehicle today there are enormous amounts of features, which to me can be good and bad. It will take some time for me to analyze and use all that the car has to offer. The main features I did not like was SeriusXM (which I don't use) and not having a CD player installed.

G80 sport quick luxury

G80 sport has a unique look and drives great. G80 is nice looking and drives better than the competition. I left Mercedes Benz for the g80 sport.Good decision!.Happy the best of the competition is by far the Genesis. Cant wait to see the new body style next year.

Luxury ride and handling

Car has all the features you want in a high end car. Looks great inside and out. I don’t think any other make can match the warranty or the price point. I have the 3.3 L twin turbo V-6, the performance is outstanding. The 3 year maintenance included is also a nice touch to lower the cost of ownership.

Genesis G 80 2019 is exceptional!

Nice looking car , functional and stylish. I like the gas mileage and this car and the driver safety features. I also like that tired can be rotated which isn’t an option on the previous 2014 Equus. The trunk space is exactly what the doctor ordered so I am very thankful for my overall purchase.

This is a great automobile. Full of luxury and options that are very safety oriented. It classifies as paying a little for a lot. The handling is exceptional. I really feel safe for myself and my passengers in the G80. The G80 definitely deserves a spot among the luxury cars available today.

Excellent car but could use some minor attention to detail. Would like for the designer to review the structure on the outside of the vehicle near the review lamps on either side of the automobile. There is wind noise coming into the interior of the car.

I have been very happy with my G80. It has met all my expectations. I get many compliments and a thumbs up once. People are very complementary about my car. Other people have driven my car and have stated that it is the best car that they have ever driven.

Fantastic car, great styling, fun to drive, spacious and luxurious interior, great value for the money, sporty, quick. Only issues are fuel economy and purchasing experience. When you purchase a $60,000 vehicle, the Hyundai dealerships and sales people are not qualified for the job
