Love it

Love it. I loved the G90 but it was a bit too much for my liking. I tried the G70 and it was way too small. The G80 when put side by side with the G90 was hard to call out anything significant which would cause me to go with the G90. When the salesperson said the screen on the G90 was not a touch screen, it was a no-brainer to go with the G80. The Sport version caught my eye with the copper accidents, etc.

Great Car

A really great car. 3.3 is very responsive but a little thirsty. If mileage is important get the 3.8 which is a good smooth engine. Has a great sound system, easy to use and wonderful sound. Seats have lots of headroom for 6 footers and lots of adjustments. Even the wings adjust. And it has a surround camera for easy parking.

So far, a great decision!

We were looking for a mid-size, luxury, sedan that was within our budget, stylish, and reliable. We found what we were looking for in the Genesis G80 3.3T. The standard features on the model we chose would have been considered upgrades with competitors. We were a little nervous purchasing from a company that was relatively new to us, but we have been very happy with our experience so far. It is a very fun car to drive. We get lots of compliments on the overall look of the car. We keep our cars for a long time, so hopefully, it will hold up for years to come. Our experience with the Genesis brand thus far has been stellar.

Big, quiet, comfortable sedan that rides and handles great and has all the goodies at an excellent price point.

I have the 3.8L with the 8 speed AWD transmission. It has heated seats front and rear, heated steering wheel. It has Nav, blind spot detection, frontal collision avoidance and many other goodies. Everything is easy to use. Unlike some cars that have many small buttons and controls, this care is laid out in a way that makes things simple and not over complicated. The ride and handling are excellent and this car is amazingly quiet at speed, virtually no wind noise. For a big car with a 116 inch wheelbase it handles like a much smaller car. As you make turns the body hardly moves at all. It's very comfortable and I enjoy driving it every time I get in it. Besides you don't see yourself coming and going in a BMW/Audi/Mercedes. Most people don't even know what it is. One group of guys at the golf course thought it was a Bentley!

Why Choose, Have it All

This car is chimeric. On a normal day it's quiet, unassuming, responsive, subtle beauty. Feel like playing? Slip into Sport mode, and suddenly the tiger wakes up and you're flying down the road. Want to be green? Select ECO mode audit's all smooth and silent. White out> Select SNOW mode and know you'll stay safely on the road. Long trip? Phone integration means I have ~5 days of my music to keep me going.

Great car, ride, handling and value!

I have owned Lexus, Jaguar, and other high end cars. Still own 2 Lexus’. Naturally, needing a new car, I went to get another Lexus, but wanted to check out the Genesis. It was suggested by a body shop owner, as well as Dominic Pugliani, a Genesis dealer. I was blown away by the Genesis G80. Try it, you’ll like it! Test drive this car, and you will be impressed. This car definitely checks all the boxes.

Third G80 household

This is my third G80 and you just can’t beat the overall value. I considered the new Hyundai Palisade but lack of availability and dealers charging over sticker price left a very bad taste in my mouth. After this lease is up it will be interesting to see what the new Genesis GV80 will bring to the table.

My G 80

I am 81 years old and have owned many autos; mostly sedans. However I had a Porsche for 10 years and currently own a convertible Corvette, so I have a pretty good feel for what a car should be. I think this is without question the best car I have ever owned. It’s a lot like the value of the Corvette, with the warranty on this car, dollar for dollar it simply can not be beat.

2019 Genesis G80

Over all I like this car. The ride is good but there are some features that could be improved up own. The two Cup holders needs to be the larger size. The gas mileage needs great improvement. The front sensor needs to have a bigger range. The car door opens too wide to reach at a comfort level once you are seated and ready to close. The navigation system takes the longer way to a destination rather the most direct way.

The Genesis Brand is EXCEPTIONAL

I've already owned 3 Genesis. My first was the G90. I eventually traded it in for the G80 when I retired. I like the G80 so much that I decided to lease one for my wife. Prior to owning the Genesis I was a die hard Audi having purchased 4 A8Ls over a four year span. When I read that design engineers from Audi and Bentley were hired to design the Genesis I became very interested. What a great vehicle they designed. It incorporates all of the luxury and performance of the Audi A8L but a significant price with better mileage and incredibly runs on regular as opposed to Premium gas. I high recommend the Genesis line of cars to every who asks me about mine and believe me, I get asked a lot.

Genesis G80

Great car. Need to get better in storage space for mobile and the cup holder sizes. Wireless charging is very slow and it heats up the device pretty quickly and as a result the cable charger is being used which doesn't allow smooth placement of mobile in the given space.

Excellent choice

Warranty won my vote for choosing Genesis. I did alot of looking before I bought it to narrow down my decision. I really considered Audi, but Genesis value for the money was much better. The sales team at the dealership were friendly but not pushy. Very professional.

Genesis USA Needs to grow up

Your dealer network does not exist so no service after the sale in Portland, Oregon. Your web site stinks showing two Genesis dealers in the Portland area and both of them threw you out and I certainly understand. The automobile deserves the highest rating buy your company is the worst I have ever done business with (almost)

Genesis G80 3.3T Sport

This car is awesome. At half the price of it's competitors this thing kicks ass. My only gripe would be I wish the seats were just a touch softer and had massage feature for the front seats. It would be a dream come true. Not a big deal because all of the features that this car offers are way to many to put into one simple review.

Stylish and very safe car

The safety features make this car wonderful to drive. Heads up display and cameras make driving and parking the car easy. The ride is very comfortable and seats are also. The car has many technical features that provide a lot of information to the driver. The dealer provides many perks when getting service done.

G80 5.0 Ultimate

The best luxury sedan on the road today, bottom line. The G80 Ultimate 5.0 has all the power you need wrapped up in luxurious vehicle with just enough technology to make every drive a real experience. The car is not pretentious like other luxury vehicles and the price point is excellent from the value you get. If you want to buy a car for it’s “Brand Name” don’t buy this vehicle, but if you want performance, luxury, and value the Genesis G80 is for you. Be original, drive a G80.

Excellent

My G80 is just about two months old. In addition to the features, the color (Siberian Ice) was the deal clincher. I’m still mastering (trying) all of the features and can’t say enough about the ride and performance in sport mode. The visibility, quiet ride and interior reflect quality and thoughtful engineering. Good job!

Great Value

Excellent vehicle. Well designed and put together. Every detail is done with a luxury touch in mind. The level of comfort while driving this vehicle is amazing. The performance of this vehicle is mind blowing with the 3.3T engine option. My only suggestion for the design team would be to improve the fuel economy.
