You had me at hello!
I’m a 41yrs old Korean man who lived in Korea for 17yrs before immigrating to US. Growing up Korean manufactured cars weren’t all that nice or reliable and even until about 5yrs ago. I change cars every 2yrs or so and had many different models range from Honda Civic to Mercedes S63 AMG (you get the idea). I was just like the others having not so good impressions on Korean cars until I finally decided to purchase a Genesis GV70 3.5T Sport Prestige. I knew Korean car makers were making noticeable changes and having an impact in tough luxury car markets in recent years. When I saw the news about new GV70 models it was just a “love at first sight” for me. I wasn’t a fan of SUV craze or part of the wave until GV70. I’m a avid car enthusiast who loves exotic cars and nice luxury cars instead. GV70 was the car that made me fall in love with the brand and SUV segment. Genesis is definitely if not already along side of BMW, Lexus, Mercedes and Porsche etc. (sorry jags, Caddy and mas… you guys make horrible cars for luxury). I had them all from their sport models to flagship models. Technology built in Genesis tops them all by any categories pretty much. Build quality, customer service experience, mobile app usability, value, comfort, visual design and you name it Genesis has it! Genesis is definitely not an upcoming luxury brand anymore. It’s one of the top contenders and deserves attention! One down side if I must say, “please make custom order available”. I have few friends who wants to get same car but they can’t do anything but wait.?
