2006 Honda Civic

I love my car. In the ten years I have owned the car, I am amazed how well it drives, how stylish it has remained and the gas mileage. I love my sunroof - like riding in a convertible without all the hassle.

Overall operation

The best car I have ever had virtually carefree, just do your regular maintenance and it keeps going like the energizer bunny.

the vehicle was not reliable or where it failed operationally. It gets reasonably efficient mileage. With Lynnwood Honda nearby and accessible, I am able to follow the maintenance schedule and thus keeep it in good condition.

Good car with a major flaw

My 2006 Honda Civic has given good service. I like many of its features. I like the simple shift lever that moves back and forth smoothly without a lot of notches as so many cars have. I love the speedometer reading just below the windshield, which makes it easier to keep your eyes on the road. I like the simple radio setup with nobs for volume and tuning rather that buttons that you have to hold down My main complaint is the poor visibility to the left front due to the sharply raked windshield and the thicker than normal A column. One must be extremely careful when making a left turn, as the column can completely block out a pedestrian in a crosswalk. It is especially bad when driving a winding subdivision road, as again it can block out pedestrians and cyclists unless you really keep moving your head from side to side to clear the area behind the column. My 2004 Civic did not have this problem. I would hesitate to buy another Civic unless this problem is cured.

MY CIVIC

I love my Honda Civic! I have driven it over 125,000 miles back and forth to work for 10 years now and it still runs great. I have not had any major car repairs, but I do have it serviced regularly. It is a nice sound ride, no rattles or shakes. I feel protected even in its smallness.

What a work horse- very dependable

Have had it since it was new in 2006. Been a great dependable vehicle. Had to have the front end almost completely rebuilt due to a collision, but still runs great, with 113K miles on it.

2006 Honda Civic

Comfortable ride, zippy response, very reliable. My first Civic and fourth Honda. It's about the size of my first Honda, which was a 1978 Accord hatchback. All good, reliable cars, all manual transmissions, and all fun to drive.
