This is the second CR-V that we have purchased. I do not understand how Honda can improve on a vehicle that is already perfect, however, the have succeeded with the 2016 CR-V Touring model. It has every feature and benefit that we could have asked for and more. When we purchased this vehicle, we were planning a cross country from Arlington, Washington to Tampa, Florida. Within two weeks of purchase, we took off on our trip (4,450 miles including many scenic stops). Every option performed magnificently on this vehicle. We had an average gas mileage of more that 32MPG (covering almost every type of terrain - mountainous, dessert, long straightaways and winding down hill and uphill roads). My wife is a quilter and the sunroof provided adequate light while I was driving. The space in the new CR-V is incredible. Our back seat was commandeered by our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. this was her space and she wanted nothing else interfering with her trip. The luggage space accommodated all of our luggage (three suitcases and various other packages). The vehicle provided great comfort for such a long trip and pleasurable driving experiences. The Touring model is worth every penny. We would not hesitate to purchase another one but I believe this one will last us a long time as we have owned a total of 5 new Hondas and we know the quality they are built on.
