THE BEST Unknown Full-size Sedan
The only reason that Hyundai doesn't make or sell more of Azeras is that they (in our humble opinion) stupidly never advertise them. In fact most people have to ask what is it you are just telling them what you drive. Just ask an owner!
The Azera is amazingly designed and built for 1/2 the price of equivalent features in a BMW, Mercedes, Acura, Lexus, or any American manufacturer's offering.
It has superior power, handling, and braking and just about every creature comfort you could ask for. We run ours on mid-grade fuel (it can be run on regular but 94 octane is what was recommended) and yet we spend less on fuel for it than we did for the Honda Accord it replaced. We almost always run it in Economy mode though it does have a non-Economy mode that provides even more power than we find needed for day-to-day or long road trips. While the sticker lists the car at 23 MPG City and 29 Hwy we actually get about 23 MPG around town, 37 MPG on the highway, and a mid-boggling 48.5 MPG on long road trips. It has no problems on any type of road or any driving condition that we have encountered and should you need emergency power - one hard push on the accelerator will kick you back into the seat as it takes off.
The Azera is roomy while being exceptionally comfortable. Five large passengers can easily sit in the car with exceptional leg room and the trunk can hold twice as much as a Cadillac XTS. The multi-adjustable front seats are great aside from the lack of a Lumbar Support for the front passenger seat (a real like to have for long trips). The separate climate control are very effective as are the separately heated & cooled front seats. Might be nice to add that for the back seats too.
The only short comings we have noted are that a tilt-able or shaded multi-function display (used for the Navigation/Multimedia/Phone/Climate Controls) would be useful for reducing glare under certain lighting conditions, and that the diameter of the Cup Holders is too small to accommodate a large thermos.
We fell in love with the 2013 Azera my in-laws own the first time we rode in it and the 2015 is even bigger inside and is the best car we have ever owned.
