2012 Hyundai Elantra

By far, this has been the best car I have ever owned. Currently at 85k mileage and no problems knock on wood. I take in in for routine oil change and tire rotations and it starts/runs on a dependable basis. I am even averaging 35-40MPG which is phenomenal. Very happy with the car and the dealership. Already recommended to my niece in California and she loves her 2016 model as well.

A Hyundai Fan

I have driven a Hyundai vehicle since 2004. I would recommend them to anyone and often have. They are a reliable, well built car that's easy to drive. The service has always been excellent at Gurnee Hyundai. I will always drive a Hyundai.

My Elantra is very reliable.

My car is a 2012 model. I have had very little to repair on the car. The dealership takes care of any recalls and efficient manner. I would buy another Elantra.

Very satisfied

The Elantra is everything I thought it would be. Economical, perfect size, great handling, fun to drive and looks good on the road too. Love the big trunk. I have 2 grand babies and there is plenty of room for both car seats.

Poor vehicle

Let's start out by saying this car was advertised as having way better gas mileage than it actually gets. It's also very low to the ground so when you hit potholes and cracks in the road it sounds like the car is breaking. On my specific year, the tires that I had been using got recalled because they were so shitty which caused for half of my flat tires. I would not recommend this car. The only good thing about mine is the seat warmers

great on mileage. approximately 19 mpg. looks great after 5 years. engine rattles when cold. seats heat up with in a few minutes. love the sun roof but it leaked after 4 years. fixed quickly and it was covered. doesnt take potholes very well,the tires bubbled . had to be replaced 3 times. overall no other repairs

I have been pleased with my Elantra. Gas mileage is good. handles well. A bit lighter then some cars but all in all Im happy with my choice.

best reliable and safety overall just awesome

Been with Tony dealers since 2006. From buying the Murano and 3 Hyundai s. This is the only place I will buy my car from. The staffs are all friendly and will treat you like a family.

2012 Hyundai Elantra : A Safety Issue

Jack and spare tire are not included for 2012 Hyundai Elantra. Instead, a can of sealant and a small air pump are provided which can only handle small leaks. A tire can get damaged to an extent that can not be handled with the sealant, and this without a jack could become a serious situation particularly in a rural area where help can not be obtained easily. A shame to Hyundai !

love at first sight

I love my Elantra. I saw it immediately after purchasing my Genesis Coupe and decided it would make an excellent vehicle to use around town. I needed a small second car for errands and to get us to local appointments. The Elantra has been delightful. It is like driving a sweet little thing....stops on a dime, power steering and parking is so easy, and it has plenty of pick up and guts to move fast when necessary. Excellent on the highway for comfort, head room, and ease of driving. Highly recommend for a family car as it has all the amenities a family would need, including a large trunk with a back seat that folds. Did I mention it is cute and has great color and elegant styling?
