Good Vehicle

Elantra did meet our expectations, the 800 number for towing/service was a great plus to have when we had a flat tire and the key was somehow locked in the car. To be honest, we did have to put some cash into the car for repairs, but feel it was offset by the warranty and option to call the 800 number for road service.

Purchased new and runs great

I have had very good luck with my 2012 Hyundai with only a couple of exceptions. It cost $700.00 + to have a new Air Conditioning Compressor at the Hyundai dealership and for some reason, the lights keep burning out The last time I replaced the headlights, the guys at Auto Zone (great guys there as well) encouraged me to get a sealant to put on the bulb connectors to prevent moisture from shorting out the bulb. We will see if that works. The car runs well and I have had no other problems with it New tires and wind shield wipers are the other items I have needed to purchase but that's it.

100% Recommendation

I truly enjoy my Elantra, comfort, level ride, and all "Bells & Whistles" Sunroof, heated seats, Navigation, built-in Bluetooth integration and the ability to click on the POI and having their phone number and address pop-up is a great feature. Backup camera is clear and is an excellent driving tool for both parallel or back-in parking.

Great car better fuel mileage

Great car, stylish and good on gas. I only wish that it came standard with a full spare instead of the liquid sealant that I got. The cars mileage was recalculated later but I still get around 40-42 on the highway.

Perfect car for anyone starting out

Best little car that I've ever bought brand new. Okay, granted that this is the only car that I've ever bought brand new, but it's been 5 years since I bought it. It's perfect for my needs, and it has helped me transition from college grad, to graduate school, to married life, and now to having my first child. This car has carried me and my husband around through 2 around the US road trips, and we rode in comfort and style. Now, I carry my precious cargo to daycare and me to work! I trust my Hyundai Elantra with my family and my life.

Total of five years payments

Upon my last payment and its fell apart interior like the window shade weakened and its mirror fell off. During my third year, my rear mirror fell off my window shield. The airbag alert with light and it will charge you even it did not included accident at all. It should be free of charge to remedy the alert light to be off when it is safe.

New car purchased 2013

Do not like the design. Would not purchase again. The view in reverse is impossible. The side mirrors placement is off and also hampers the side views.Refection from windshield is annoying and due to the shape. I would not have purchased this car if I had backed up on my test drive. Can't see well backing out due to shape and slope of car.
