Best car I've owned so far..

Before I bought this vehicle I owned a 2003 Chevy cavalier that had problems with the radiator..decided not to invest anymore money in that thing. Instead I invested in a pre-owned 2012 Hyundai elantra and I've never been more satisfied( I do however wish I had the fully loaded model..but alas I have a basic). I recommend Hyundai to anybody who tells me they are in the market for a new car... Specifically Mid-island Hyundai in Centereach,NY.

Wony buy another one

Several repairs although under warranty mostly. Steering column replaced to correct traction dash light. Car is on its 3rd ignition pack coil for #1 cylinder.

Time for a new car.(or not)

My 2012 Hyundai has a few years on her, but is none worst the wear. I have never had an issue, great milage, heated seats front and back, which with today's low temp of 7 degrees is a big plus, handles well in the RI icy road conditions. I keep asking myself why I need a new car when this Elantra behaves so well.

I like to run it .i usually run a civic Honda but my Elantra is nice,

2012 Elantra

Big bang for the buck. Great gas mileage. Gorgeous in red with tan interior. Constantly "pulling" left since the day it left the showroom. Alignments never could correct it. Makes driving on long trips tiring because you have to keep compensating for the pulling to the left. Driving over 70 m.p.h. on the highway and your lucky if you can hear the radio. Seven years, 65,000 miles and no major problems. Normal maintenance (oil changes and filters and battery).

reliable basic transportation

My 2012 Hyundai Elantra has 60,000 miles. So far the car has been mechanically reliable. The vehicle has never needed a tow. This particular model should have been equipped with a back-up camera and rear windshield wiper as standard equipment. My next car will have that, and all-wheel drive. Gas mileage averages 25 mpg all around.
