Amazingly dependable (and fun) workhorse

With some misgiving, I gave up my trusty F150 for a 2013 Elantra - and with occasional exception (when I had a big object to transport), there's never been a regret. At 90,000 miles, aside from routine maintenance and replacing a set of tires, I've never had a service event - and it's as much fun to drive now as it was when I took it off the lot. The only "dis" I have has been addressed in more recent model years - more road noise than I enjoy. I'm beginning to consider trading it in on a new model, but why?

Comfortable

Perfect car for a small family! i truly enjoy this car. its great on gas and super comfortable. its just enough stylish without being so flashy! i don't have honestly anything bad to say and i've had my Elantra for about 4 years!

2013 Elantra

I have had this car for four years. I have had no mechanical issues with it whatsoever aside from a dead battery which is expected. It has been a very good car, gets good gas mileage. The only thing I wish was better is the sound insulation. The road noise on the highway is very loud. I will buy from Hyundai again, but I’ll make sure the cabin is quieter before I do.

I have had 5 hyundais.Been buying them since 1987.i love them.my 1st I had some problems but I stuck with them and they ironed out their promblems and here it is 2018 and i am still a hyundai owner'i hold on to them for awhile.As long as i keep the maintenance up my car serves me well

Great car!

I love my Elantra gets good gas mileage I have only had it for a couple of months but I enjoy driving it! It has a lot of options that I didn’t expect on a car at the price range. Anyone looking for a good car that is reliable I would say get a Elantra!

Zero issues with 2013 Elantra

Zero issues with 2013 Elantra. No regrets. Great car and great MPG. Was starting to get a lot of road noise and felt like it was cheaper model. Overall No complaints. I ended up buying a new one this weekend

My Elantra

This is my second one and I love my Elantra. its a functionally sound vehicle and very dependable, the fuel economy is excellent and the styling is great, all the controls are well within reach, the cabin is spacious for a car in this class.

Junk

My 2013 Huyndia Elantra has had problems from day one. To this day it still hasn't been fixed. They just keep saying there is nothing wrong with my car. It's a death trap. Not sure at this time if I would ever buy another Huyndia product again.

2013 Hyundai Elantra limited edition

Excellent car, I currently have 218 on my 2013 Elantra with no mechanical maintenance other than routine oil changes, breaks & numerous sets of tires. 8 sets in 6 years. I purchase 60/65K mile warranty tires, I do not expect to get that but I have never once even reached 30K miles on a set of tires on this vehicle. It is very aggravating. I purchased my first 3 sets from Bridgestone/Firestone, yes they pro-rated them but this car still killed me financially in tires. I planned to purchase another Elantra but I can't justify purchasing tires every 10 months or so. I was told that "You can't expect 17 inch tires to last on a small disposable car like the Elantra". Other than that issue I LOVE MY CAR & it has been and still is a great car.

I will buy another one eventually.

It's a good car for the money.....I'll likely buy another one so keep me posted on future Elantras especially if the price doesn't go up too much & the quality remains at least the same or better. It gets me where I want to go & I get pretty good mileage:)

Review

Disappointed with this vehicle cheap leather on steering wheel that is peeling off. In the past I rarely had to start putting money into the car until it was about 8 years old this car started costing at 4 years old. Noise level inside increases every year was only a quiet ride for the first year on the road. This car is now on its third battery. Not impressed with the Hyundai product. Would not purchase again or recommend.

Best car I ever owned.

This car has been driven in all weather conditions. I have put over a hundred thousand miles on it myself. The car has been in 15 degrees below zero runs and handles flawlessly. I would recommend the other car makers take notice of a new day in automotive reliability.

I have loved driving each of my 3 elantras that I have owned. Get good mileage, are very comfortable to drive. I love my cruise control, and there is a lot of space for carrying stuff in the trunk. I don't like that there is no spare tire included when you buy the vehicle.

Fun and comfortable to drive and ride in. Roomy, I don't feel like I'm in a tin can. Good mileage.controls for radio etc within easy reach.affordable and still classy. I would definitely buy another one if I ever got another car.

Economy price with Luxury detail

We were going to buy the Sonata, but fell in love with everything about the Elantra. The sporty look with a touch of class caught our eye and then the price was about $20K if I remember which had us really start to take interest. Leather heated seats and head rests front and back. The driver seat has more than few controls for comfort and after buying it still was a few days to notice all of the little details that kept us smiling. For a company to put that much effort into an economy vehicle says so much about them and what they take pride in. They won us over with that!

Love my Elantra

My Elantra is the best vehicle I have owned. It has a great warranty and that is why I chose this car. I have never had any major mechanical issues, only normal wear and tear. We recently drove from PA to Idaho then Utah with a fully packed car. Over 2000 miles and only had to fill up 2 times on the way there and 3 times on the way back. I was very impressed. Maintance problems are few and far apart. I have only had to replace tires and brakes because of normal wear and tear. It has over 121000 miles on it and I drive it 60 miles daily to and from work. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone looking for a great bargain and great gas mileage. My favorite feature is my Elantra has a manual transmission.

2013 Elantra

I've loved my Elantra. I am 6ft 1" tall and the car is roomy enough for me, even with passengers in the back seats. I make monthly drives from LA to Oakland, Calif at 82mph (don't tell the CHP!) and the car performs well. The car is responsive, has power to pass when I need it. I would definitely choose Hyundai again.

Almost a lemon

Car is problematic, it seem to not have enough power engine, electric, have to bring to dealer for lights 3 times already. I have brought it to dealer so many times. Would not buy a Hyundai for my next new car purchase.
