Great Car
I bought a 2013 Elantra in November of 2012, so have been driving it for 5 years. No major problems of any kind--actually no minor problems, just routine service. It is comfortable to ride in for extended periods of time and/or pull over in a rest area and take a nap. I do have a wish list which could be fulfilled by the Sonata, but for considerably more money. That is: (1) a rear window wiper. The defogger works fine, but with so much rain in Oregon a wiper would vastly improve rear visibility. (2) seat warmers. It doesn't get all that cold here, but having had these on my previous vehicle, I miss them. Often times you don't even need to turn the heat on, just the seat warmers. I honestly will probably trade this one in on a new Elantra in the near future.
There is a design problem that I hope they have fixed. The front end is too low. I take on every parking bumper in town and have lost the shield due to it breaking off form a high bumper.
I only gave the "Fun to Drive" a five rating. I don't think any car is fun to drive. I really hate driving and this car makes it at least tolerable.
