I am extremely satisfied with my Elantra. I have keeping my eye on the Kona and have even said it will be my future car. After a recent test drive, I am no longer considering the Kona but purchasing another Elantra

Good reliable and reasonably priced

This is my second Hyundai and I've been driving this type of vehicle for 20 years. Sonata first and now the Elantra second. It looks slick and inviting. She never gave me trouble out the the ordinary. Good on gas.

I love this car

After five years of driving my 2013 silver Elantra, it is just as it was when I first drove away from the dealership. It has the heart of a lion and has never done anything to surprise me...has never failed in any way. I have always enjoyed driving it, as it is comfortable and the controls are adjustable to my small body. I have driven this car from Florida across the country via Nebraska, in the cold to Colorado in a terrible snowstorm, to Arizona's intense heat with no problems, and ultimately to the Pacific Northwest and back to Florida through Utah and Colorado a couple of years later.

Like most vehicles, it good when it’s new. Now once you get over the 5 year mark and have to deal with the extended warranty, then you find out how they have to many rules they get them out of fixing the vehicle.

2013 Elantra Limited

I went from a 6-cylinder Malibu to my Elantra. I was initially concerned about the change, but I really like my Elantra. It's sporty, economical and has many great features. Actually has great room in back for a 4-cylinder.

Elantra Love!

I really enjoy driving my Elantra. It is quick when I need it to be and that was important when we bought it 5 yrs ago. The size is nice for moving in traffic and parking yet I can carry alot of things in the backseat and trunk. The vehicle is well made and solid. It's a great partner for me and comfortable to roadtrips as well. I use the manual option most of the time. It gives me a power boost when needed. The elantra has easily driven in the snow on the hills as I leave my home too - no problem! I love the style of the car and they still attract my attencion when I see other Elantras on the road

Love my 2013 Elantra

I love everything about my Elantra. It drives and handles very well on long trips. I received received numerous compliments on the body style & color (desert bronze). I only wish the backup cameras had been available at the time I bought mine.

Elantra

Remote start or ability to start car and lock the doors so I can go back inside and wait while it warms up. Can not lock keys in car but will let me lock keys in trunk (not good).....................

Do not buy this car

About 6 months ago my car started to intermittently cut off while driving stall to start up, wont accelerate. I went to Hyundai service several times & they cannot fixit say they dont know whats wrong

Hyundai Elantra

I have a 2013 Elantra and love it. Gas mileage is amazing since I drive 2 hrs a day round trip to work. I get about 36mpg a tank between city and highway driving. It is a nice looking compact car, and I adore the heated seats!

I am so happy with my Elantra. Best car I have had. I always feel secure and safe when I go on road trips with my Elantra. I am able to haul alot with the ease of lowering the back seat. I would definitely purchase another Elantra in the future.

Sporty Best Gas mileage

First car ever bought new and love it! Driving all over the US and best gas miles bar none. What a sporty, safe, classy car. Pearl white is so mod! Workhouse for the mountains of AZ and CO and great air con and love those heated seats!

Love the Elantra, hate the GPS update requirement

I have been driving the Elantra for 5 1/2 years now. I love this great little car, and recommended it to my nephew who also bought one! However, updating the GPS on the Elantra is a major tedious and expensive task that has to be done at least once a year or it gets out of date. The fact that I have to take the car in and pay $200 every year to have my GPS updated is a serious misstep by Hyundai. It should be a) automatically updated while I am driving and b) *FREE*! My GPS on my smart phone was free to download and updates itself automatically - all for free. You can update the Hyundai GPS manually from the web using a USB drive (which I did), but that still costs $199 ($145 when it's on sale), requires you to purchase a minimum 16GB USB drive, is very tedious and takes the better part of an entire day of your life - just to update the silly GPS. Based on this, I give Hyundai 5 stars for the Elantra and 1 Star for the GPS update requirement.

What I think of my Elantra.

I only have one complaint regarding my 2013 Elantra. I may have bought another one by now but the same thing remains to be a complaint of the new ones. The way the back window is made (tilting inward rather than straight) it needs a wind shield wiper. Despite the inside of the window coils that defrost a wiper would help to clear dirt, leaves, snow and any dust ridden raindrops from the outside..

I still love my Hyundai Elantra!

Why I love my "Ellie"

In no particular order, we love the nimble steering and tight turning radius, the extremely comfortable heated seats with great lumbar support, her swoopy styling, large trunk space expands with split back seat drop-downs. Originally wanted leather seats, but the basic upholstery is so comfortable we didn't need it. I wish her seats were a little wider and seat belt could adjust down a little more so it would'nt ride up my chest. I'd like electric adjustable seats for passenger as well as driver. We would have gotten electric seat adjust but was only available with extra package which included sun roof which we didn't want. Not happy with the gas mileage. Expected better.

The Hundai Elantra is a luxury car with a modest price.

The Hundai Elantra has been a great car for me. i am a college student who commutes to school. i needed a dependable car with great gass mileage. I love the remote start feature and heated seats. I can always count on my Elantra even on cold starts.
