Decent car worth looking into
Personal dealership experience was terrible. Salesman was incredibly rude to my family the entire time, and for no reason. That aside, this car is very nice compared to all non-premium compact sedans. Exterior styling/chassis makes the car look much more expensive than it actually is. Nimble handling/braking helped us avoid more than one near-death experiences on the road, which required a split-second of reaction time. Aside from the frontal crash test results, we feel safe in this vehicle if in a crash. MPG is nowhere near 40MPG, in fact, it's much lower. Interior is a notch above Toyota and Honda standards, however is still plasticky and gaudy in many areas. It's comfortable enough. Seat position is fine for me (i'm 5'11") and I have no problem with head room, etc. As far as ride is concerned, it's extremely firm to the point that it rides like a BMW; we can feel pretty much every pebble on the road. Road noise is pretty bad because of virtually non-existent insulation: anywhere above 50mph, and you have to talk to passengers loudly due to the wind + engine sounds. You'd have to see for yourself, really, but just fyi as it's pretty loud. Aside from those things, this is a nice entry-level vehicle for the money. I still feel it is better than a Corolla or a Civic, for example, and plus its exterior has more personality.
