I still learning this vehicle

I am still adjusting to a new vehicle that seems quite foreign in the way things operate and it is hard to get use to. I found the handbook to be difficult to use and required more time to figure out. I think it is the difference between the German mind and the Korean m8nd. Hopefully over time I will get it. KC Summers is excellent dealership.

2021 Hyundai Elantra SEL

Great features for the buck. This car comes standard with many of the modern safety features. It has Apple car play and Android auto. Fantastic gas mileage. 35 mpg combined, over 40 mpg highway. It also has the Smart trunk feature.

Excellet car, abhorrent dealership

The exceptional gas mileage and overall quality feel of the Elantra hits well above its price level. It is missing some minor interior accommodation features such as just 2 cup holders but that doesn't hold this car back any at all. Be EXTREMELY careful when selecting dealerships, though. Van Hyundai in Carrollton, TX has me wishing I never bought this car in the first place. I have found other dealerships for service that seem much better, but I have been deeply put off of another Hyundai just off dealership interaction alone.

Best bang for your buck!

The 2021 Hyundai Elantra is the North American Car of the Year. It is sporty/classy in design, gets excellent gas milage, and is fun to drive. Super safety features with beautiful interior layout and design. For the price, it is hard to beat.

Great car but not happy with after purchase refusal to give us owners' manual or quick reference guide.

Really like the car, but company will not provide us with an owners' manual or quick reference guide. We have called the dealership, Hyundai Corporation, e-mailed both places, and they still will not send us either materials.

Love my car

Love the look and feel of my car. Safety features are awesome as are little fun items like changing the interior light color. Very easy to drive, very safe. Looks spiffy and stylish as well. This is my second Hyundai and I prefer this one to my previous sonata

I hate the cruise control

The car drives ok. The heater does not get hot enough and takes forever to warm up when it is cold outside. I absolutely hate the smart functions of the cruise control. It has almost caused wrecks at least twice when going through a corner. I will not buy another car with this “technology”

I like the vehicle, the style the color, etc.

I like the vehicle, the dealership and most important, for me, the salesperson. I have bought a number of vehicle over the years from this dealership. I have done so because I like and trust the salesperson Tony Johnson. When I want a different car I call him and he always comes through for me.

Loving my Hyundai Elantra. Lots of features that I enjoy....mirror sensor, alert for changing lanes/auto correct, great gas mileage....Holds the road very well. Seats adjust easily, the 3 driving modes make for an economical yet sporty option.

Vehicle is worth buying as the warranty is worth it. Please do the research as this is one of the best cars that provide amazing gas mileage without it being a hybrid.

This car will definitely give you it's money's worth. The gas mileage is amazing, the price is fantastic, the features such as the awareness this car provides is well worth it. I use this car for delivery and even for long distance trips.

Better than the earlier versions

Seems like they figured out how to keep the doors from closing on your legs when exiting the vehicle. The sound of wind coming through the front windows is not nearly as bad as the earlier models, on the earlier models it actually sounded like you had the windows open. Sportier look and feel, vehicle handles very well around curves, seating is very nice as you can adjust to your liking, the dashboard is a lot better with more options than earlier models. Cons: the vehicle lane assist sometimes jerks the wheel from your grip, the crash avoid system sounds and brakes when the vehicle in front of you has already turned. I actually had the car slam on brakes over a dead raccoon on the highway.

Purchase treatment versus service treatment

When you purchase the vehicle you receive amazing treatment. After the vehicle has been purchased, you will find out some things that you were told regarding financing and mileage were not exactly true. Also, taking your vehicle to the service area you may have to make multiple trips in order for them to actually take the time to fix your vehicle.

Ver good experience

Blind spots Height under car could be addressed but love the car especially the gas mileage on highways. Blind spot is on the right side of the vehicle looking back out rear window--the front seats get in the way and are hard to adjust

Love my vehicle

Love my vehicle with all the bells and whistles. Excellent gas mileage!! It drives very smooth and love the auto drive like a tesla while on the freeway. Its a great car for the value. I currently get 56mpg on the highway.

The car was not worth $35,000. Car is made with very cheap material. The exterior doors and window shafts are so misaligned and the hood of the vehicle has defect that make the hood look like it’s open

First Oil Change = New Engine

For the most part I would say I loved this car. It is stylish and the tech and safety features are simply amazing, especially for a car in this class. It comes with 3 years maintenance free, but I would be hesitant to use that option. The entire engine had to be replaced after the first oil change due to dealership error. I would expect Hyundai to have higher standards for their workers so that mistakes like this are not made. This might be a special case but I will never know the true joy owning this new vehicle.

More than happy with 2021 Elantra so far after 10 months. Roomy, good drive with lot's of standard features, and 40 MPG plus on HWY. Bought new, only real complaint was delivery, car not ready at appointment time, Salesperson nor dealership never followed up after sale. Was a 3 See Delivery-See Your Car, See Your Keys, See You Later
