What could have been
I love the genesis coupe, but it could be much more if they had just changed a few things and not give us a whole new expensive car. The grill, the bottom half looked good, just keep that design, but all the way up. Hood intakes that are polished stainless and functional. And the third exterior change would be to make the trunk opening include the window. Better access, more space. Interior, wow, better power seats, more room for stuff, like the center console on the veloster, and the under dash space, doors that don't sound cheap when you open them, a backup camera. Engine, 435 hp and 435 torque. I think that with the current body design, which by the way, I get comments on damn near every day, is a winner, ain't broke, don't fix it. But alas, we will get a G70 coupe, hopefully with a lot more than the Genesis Ultimate got. But still won't trade unless the G7 is special, lets all hope so.
