An excellent automobile , Great quality and excellent reliability

This vehicle was purchase back in 2010 and have a 59,970 miles as of yesterday the only repairs needed in the automobile have been tires ( twice) and a battery in 2014 . Yesterday the front breaks pads were replace after 59,000 miles . Never Have I own an automobile with such high degree of quality and reliability . I suppose that is the main reason why the warranty is one of the best ( 60,000 miles)

Genesis

True luxury sport sedan - the biggest (and probably ONLY) drawback has been the rear-wheel drive in the winter, and this has been addressed with the latest models. I am impressed with this car, and would recommend it to everyone, but must wait until I get a new AWD model and have it over a winter before I do that. In the meantime, if you want a very nice, near luxury, near sport sedan, (and I say near because the price is NOT a luxury level price but the quality is) you won't do any better than this one.

Exceptional Value......

I purchased a 2011 Hyundai Genesis 3.8 which had 36K miles it. Now at 69K, this vehicle has been superb. The interior is finished nicely and the seating very comfortable. The value you get for the price is truly unbelievable. Frankly, I can't think of anything that warrants a complaint. I did replace the low profile tires that came with the vehicle and opted for the Continental Pure Contact. The ride was smoother and the handling is superior. Goal is to drive this beauty for a few more years and then perhaps upgrade to a 2015.

The Gen I'm In

This is a very smooth ride. Beautiful body. Great sound system until the casing in the trunk starts to rattle and I'm told I now have to get some type of insulation to fix the rattle from the base. Why put an awesome sound system in that can't withstand the magnitude of the base. Then Hyundai technicians don't have an in house solution Handles pretty well. Brake system a bit wonky. Lots of leg room. Blind spots all over the place.

Great car

Had the car for 3 years and have had no problems. Drives great and even with a V8 get 30 miles to gallon on the highway at 70 mph.

Love them

I first encountered Hyundai while renting Sonatas as I traveled. A friend wrecked his town car and asked what I would buy at that point and I told him that I loved the styling and performance of the Sonata. He said he couldn't buy a Hyundai because it wasn't a Lincoln or Lexus. A few days later he called to let me know he was test driving a Hyundai, but that I didn't want a Sonata, I wanted a Genesis like he was test driving. I took one for a test drive and wouldn't give it back to the dealer. Now have two and love everything about them.

Paint peeled, bubbled and rust on rear fender at 50K miles. Want 7-8K to repainted. No warranty. Dashboard button on/off lights and monitor hard to see in daylight.

At 26000 miles had to have idler pulls and belt replaced. You can rest assured it was not done by Hyundai!

Would never buy another one. Maybe just the service you don't get at the Modesto dealer ship.

Amazing Car

This car has all the comfort and luxury features of cars costing much more. The ride is extremely quiet while being responsive to the road. The tech package is a bit more difficult to use than the nav/entertainment system that comes with the Premium Package, and I would have preferred the latter. But overall, Hyundai did an excellent job designing this car inside and out.

Luxury "driving machine"

This car is more comfortable, drives as well and has more bells and whistles than I need, but I love it and plan to run up the miles before probably trading in for a new Genesis in the future. Before I even knew about the Genesis, a friend of mine bought the coupe and loved it, but just too small for me to climb in and out of every day. This sedan has all the luxury, performance and comfort that you would expect from the highest class of driving machines - Great deal in my opinion and best car I've owned to date for the money.
