Powerful, and roomy

Good car overall. 96,000 on it now. Has a few things that are glitchy like the display for the radio, navigation, back up camera. Otherwise, very comfortable to drive. A bit torquish so you have to be careful when moving from a stop. Not good in snow obviously as it is RWD. No engine mechanicals yet.

Big and strong but not subtle.

The 2012 Genesis is not absolute fun, but it did save us when we needed to be saved… Sorry, but if you ever get sideswiped at 70 MPH, the strength, endurance and character of your vehicle will get tested….

Reliable

This is a great vehicle. It is very reliable. Comfortable and fun to drive. I like the interior design and the exterior design very much. This vehicle is comparable to the very High End vehicles but cost considerably less .

High Quality!

Highest quality. Most trouble free auto I have ever owned. Just replace the original brake linings after 97,000 miles. Quality surpasses Mercedes, BMW, and Audis that I previously owned. Original tires lasted 64,000 miles

A terrific automobile from Hyundai

One of the best vehicles I have ever owned, and that includes Lincoln Continentals, Mercedes Benz S500 & E320. Fast, reliable, comfortable and affordable, all wrapped up in what is called the Genesis 500 r spec. I love it !!!

Love this car!

My car is now 10 years old it runs like a charm. I just purchased an extended warranty because I want to keep this vehicle for hopefully many more years. It is fun to drive, stylish, and comfortable even for long trips!

I love my 2012 Genesis!!

This car has been the nicest surprise of any car I have ever owned. Attractive, very comfortable, turning circle is amazing, excellent brakes and handling, and lots of power. It is a great highway cruiser with easy, strong acceleration and smooth transmission. I dread the day that I have to retire this car!!

Genesis 2012 Review

I still enjoy my 2012 Genesis, and the service provided to me by Porter Hyundai , from whom I purchased my car 9 years ago. My only issues are the RVD in my car which means that I can't drive in any snow, also Porter Hyundai does not sell Genesis vehicles anymore. I may be looking to purchase a Genesis SUV in 2022 or2023.

5.0 RSpec

I bought the car as I knew the 2012 had certain unique parts compared to the other Hyundai vehicles and even the other models in the Genesis fleet. The 2012 RSpec has excellent handling and a unique engine and transmission. I tend to keep a car for 10 years, but I will keep this one much longer.

My 2012 Genesis 4.6 is the first vehicle that I’ve really enjoyed to the utmost,

My Genesis 4.6 has performed beautifully over the years without any major problems, such a great and comfortable ride and a beautifully designed automobile. I’ve never had any engine problems, other than battery replacement. My Genesis still performs great.

Maybe the best car I've ever owned

We have owned a Cadillac CTS and it was a good car. But for overall value, appearance, performance, and comfort this is a better car. It has a powerful engine. Rides great. We still get compliments on it. And the repair costs are low.

Ok

I'm very satisfied with this car I bought a used and 2015 with 22,000 MI 6 years 80000 miles later the only thing I had to replace was the alternator at a fuel pump and both were under warranty. Now customer service at the dealership San. The mechanic shops is something you'll definitely have to work for on

Overall condition

Only 45k miles and the lower control arms requires replacement which is very pricey Also I was told that the spark plugs need to be replaced even in the service manual says that after over 100k The car never was overlooked

Genesis 2015

Amazing car and so comfortable to ride in and has amazing power and performance. I get lots of compliments about the car and the smoothness of the ride. It has been the best car I ever owned. I would buy a Genesis again.

This vehicle is very stylish, well built, good gas mileage, easy to handle, good pick up. When looking at other vehicles, there is no comparison. Even though it is a 2012, when other people ask what kind of vehicle it is and what year is it they don't believe it.

Overall vehicle review is excellent and really what I expected from Hyundai. Service Advisors are knowledgeable.

I purchased my Genesis brand new in July 2012. I have had no major issues with this car. I love my Genesis. Wish I could have purchased it from this dealership instead of in Duluth. This Stone Mountain location was not open in 2012.

2012 Genesis Review

After almost 9 years, I still enjoy driving my Genesis. It is still comfortable and reliable. I just changed my battery after 73,000 miles. Still great performance. My only regret is that it is RWD, so I left it in the garage with any snow or chance of snow. I will never purchase a RWD vehicle again. Otherwise fun to drive.

Genesis just keep rolling along.

Bought the 2012 Hyundai Genesis new. After 118,000+ miles I have had minimal maintenance problems. Still have the dealer service and maintain the vehicle with excellent results. Vehicle runs as efficiently as when purchased. Interior and exterior have held up well after 10 years of ownership. Very satisfied with my Genesis ownership.

Excellent well performing 9 year old Genesis.

Although I am able to afford a new car, I see no reason to make a change. While I might be blown away by newer bells and whistles, I feel that my Genesis offers all the standards that I expect in safety, performance, comfort and design.

Throttle issue

The car likes do accelerate by itself from time to time. It is pretty scary when it does it. It also had a issue with it just shutting while you’re driving. Hyundai and the dealership have done a horrible job of taking care of the issue and now that it is out of warranty now one cares. I will never buy another Hyundai ever again.
