Sweet ride until the tranny died!

Great driving experience. Hugs and maneuvers well. A bit of luxury and very comfortable. I love the car! I was the second owner at 50k. It was a sweet ride until the tranny died. A remanufactured transmission put in place and it's got a new life! Running Great! Hope to have fun with it for a long time. It's been an enjoyable and reliable driving experience.

Not what we expected

We purchased the vehicle brand new in 2011 after test driving other comparable cars. I was not completely sold on Hyundai after the track record they had years ago. Once we test drove the car we were blown away at the features and the cost of the vehicle. Still not sold on the car we ended up leasing the car for 3 years and not having one problem with the car other than regular service and a new battery we decided to keep the vehicle. The car had 60,000 miles and only serviced at the dealership along with all recommend service intervals. Now the car has 100,000 the battery died so we ended up having a new battery placed in the car, once we started the vehicle the check engine light came on and the idle was extremely rough! So we had it towed to the local dealer and after a weeek long diagnosis they came up with the vehicle needed the coils replaced and injectors. $1700.00 later the vehicle is now fixed. One other issue we have had was filling the gas tank you can’t fill it up because the nosel keeps clicking off we have taken to dealer multiple times which they have replaced the filter and the gas nosel assembly of courses at the time under warranty. Nothing has worked to fix the problem we still can’t fill the tank! The radio was having Bluetooth connection issues and static in the sound so they replaced the main unit at 25,000 miles now at 100000 the radio does not connect at all. After all of these issues we have had I would not recommend this vehicle to anyone looking for a car to last! They look amazing on the outside and the inside is luxurious but the problems that we have face makes me wish we would have him with a more reliable car. We take car of all of our vehicles to the highest level people look at this car and tell us that it looks like it could sit on the show room floor

Sweet ride

Genesis is definitely top of the line in comfort and very sporty. Gives BMW a run for the money. I would recommend this vehicle to everyone. Plenty of power and very luxurious. I will definitely be looking to upgrade to a newer version of the Genesis only. Love my Genesis! Thank you Roger Beasley in Austin Tx.

Genesis

Love the Genesis. Currently driving the second one and plan to purchase another one mid-spring. The ease of maneuverability makes it lora of fun to drive. Car is very responsive. Whether sitting in the front of back the ride is always comfortable. The styling of the vehicle is classy.

Car overall quality

Excellent and reliable car. Had it for over 5 yesrs but has not caused me trouble... yet. Might consider newre models when I am tired with this current car. But it might be few more years since it is still reliable.

Genesis!!!

This is a great car! I'm 6'7" and I'm very comfortable driving it. El Paso to Abilene on a tank of gas! I just wish I could stream music from my phone. If I were in the market for a vehicle today, I'd buy another Genesis!

Love my Genesis.

It is a very comfortable car. The interior is really well done. My car has had almost no problems in the almost 6 years I have owned my car. I get great comments on how new it looks and large the back seat is. When I get on an interstate I don't worry because I can depend on it.

Fantastic

My Genesis drives circles around other so called “luxury cars”. My car has features that are totally in keeping with its luxury status. I haven’t had any problems and routine service costs are reasonable. I have about 50,000 miles so far with great raves.

Hyundai Genesis, my best car ever.

After six years of ownership, my Genesis still purrs like a kitten and roars like a lion. Not a squeak to be found; as solid as ever. The electronics are awesome. Comparing my car to any BMW, Mercedes, Audio or Lexus, Genesis wins hands down. Better design, amenities, feel, and value.

A bit of class AND muscle

A stylish and classy looking sedan with enough features and horsepower to make you forget at times you're driving a Hyundai. The Genesis looks and drives like a much more expensive sedan and is faster than many V-8 powered cars on the market.

Best car

The car rides very smooth and has great acceleration. I get pretty good gas mileage overall especially while traveling. The features are great especially when you are alerted if you get to close to another vehicle.

An economical luxury car.

The 2012 Genesis competes with the often cited US luxury cars. It has luxury appearance and performs like a "lion" on the highway. I would buy another Genesis from the dea;er and will give testimony to dealer.

A Great Car

I love my Genesis! It has been a great car and I have had zero problems with it since I bought it in 2012. I am seriously considering buying another one even though I usually get something different when it is time for a new one! That’s how much I love it!

Great performance and luxury in Hyundai Genesis

Before I start I want to have clear that before the Genesis my Previous vehicles have been ACURA’s. I decided to give it a try on a used Genesis R-Spec. Honestly it exceeded my expectations in overall performance, features and ride. The maintenance is only a fraction of its competitors and the warranty is far better than theirs too. In my opinion the Genesis has a lot to give even more than what anyone could expect on any of the other manufacturers Hyundai is competing with. I decided to go with an used model just to give it a try and honestly the only reason I would traded it would be for a newer version of an R-Spec if; if they decide to release it again.

2012 Genesis sedan

The car has wonderful performance as far as engine quite a bit of power the ride is pretty nice styling is pretty sharp also Interior is very spacious safety features are very good to hear your lighting is good. The only drawback for a luxury car it doesn’t come equipped with a back up camera or now system which I think should’ve been part of the package when the car was built. It seems kind of funny they would build a luxury car without those options coming with the car

2012 Hyundai Genesis

I have had my 2012 Hyundai Genesis for over 5 years now and have put more miles on it than any car I have ever owned (approximately 120,000 miles). I take it to my nearest Hyundai dealer in O'Fallon, IL for regular service and I anticipate getting another 120,000 miles on it before I will look for my next Hyundai product.

Smooth ride

I love my car! It Looks good, leather interior, rides so smooth,& very spacious. I get so many compliments, Alot of ppl think it's a Mercedes at first look :-). Great gas mileage, it's worth every dollar.
