Hyundai Genesis, 2012

The vehicle is awesome in most ways. The problems I have had: The air conditioner intermittently worked after a couple years, and it took month's before the problem was found, also, the motor for the power window - driver side door had to be replaced twice. Also, Hyundai overestimated The mileage The Genesis gets, so they were ordered to give Genesis owners so much per mile back on a master card to each customer. Other than that, the car drives and rides like a dream!

2012 Hyundai Genesis

Excellent vehicle when purchased in 2012; great value and did not have to purchase a lot of "options", which were standard; overall interior/exterior design was nice; very roomy vehicle; experience a couple some issues (water drips into truck when open, back up camera monitor display slow); however in 2015 I experienced a major rear end collision while stopped on interstate and Genesis received minor damage to rear end (but OEM Genesis parts were hard to come by and costly $14k repairs), the other vehicle (Volkswagen Jetta) front end suffered major damage and driver was injured. I was VERY thankful to all of the safety features and design of the Genesis.

excellent vehicle.

The factory installed tires were replaced after 64,520 miles. I now have over 67,000 miles on the original brakes. This vehicle has high quality parts and the lowest maintenance of all vehicles I have owned. I highly recommend the Geniesis.

Solid Vehicle

My 2012 Hyundai Genesis 3.8 had been a top performer! I have nothing but good things to say about it thus far. The engine is plenty powerful and the interior and creature comforts are what make it truly stand out.

Love my Genesis

Fully loaded beautifully designed vehicle. I leased it initially because I didn't know if I'd like it or not. After a year I purchased it. The only negative thing is rear wheel drive isn't good for states with snow. I had to buy winter tires.

Perrrrrrrfect

My 2012 gas all the options that were available at the time. Active cruise is the best feature. Dash board controls are brushed metal, not plastic. Gear selector has metal frame, not a leather pouch. Engine is very responsive. Excelleration with my V6 is great. A/C is cold. Rarely have the blower past 3 Sound system is awesome. My DVD player can even play a movie ( but only in Park) Leather still looks new. So does my paint. But I do keep it garaged.

Great car for the price.

Great luxury vehicle that is reliable and affordable. The V-6 engine has great torque and acceleration, it feels like you are pushing something more powerful. Great Lexicon sound system, rear view camera, sunroof, leather seats and all the nice things you would get in high end luxury brands. The newer Genesis models havr stepped up thr gamr to compete with your BMWs and Lexus but the 2012 is right there to give a great alternative to taking out a second mortgage to ride in style.
