Incredibly well built luxury car offering great value.
Great comfortable luxury car for thousands less than comparable offerings from Lexus, MB, or other luxury brands. I had driven an S-class MB and was won over by the styling of the Genesis. When I test drove it, I was very surprised that the ride and drive was very much like my MB. Love the rear wheel drive and smooth ride. It's solid like a tank. I now have owned the car for almost 4 years (47K miles) and have been back to the selling dealer (Texan Hyundai in Rosenberg, TX) for all service. Regular maintenance is basically all I have had done and they usually send me a coupon that keeps the costs to a minimum. Only two items in 4 years have been corrected under warranty: The Nav screen blanked out a couple times and the power window switch on the drivers door. When I took the car in, both problems were repaired immediately without problem. The staff in the service department is very friendly at the dealer and not always trying to "upsell" you on other services. I think the car is a great value. My wife drives a Lexus and even though it is also a great car, I believe the Genesis is a greater value. At Lexus, we do receive a loan car and the service lounge is much fancier with a snack bar for customers, but I'd rather just have a great car for less $$ and not have the fancy dealership waiting areas.
