My Genesis

I love my Genesis. I find new things weekly. O have not experienceD by remorse, on the contrary each time I approach "Royce" I'm delighted. The 2 things that I dislike are the location of my birthday and the inability to open my trunk when approaching my car without my keybob

Not Reliable

Third time in 3 years since I purchased my Genesis it wouldn't start and the battery was dead. Not too Reliable!

I really like this car. Ours is a fully loaded 2013 3.8L V6 and is very comfortable and reliable. The only repair that has been needed is to replace the electronic left rear door lock. My only dislikes about this car is the paint and the throttle response. The titanium gray paint on this car looks like it is a two-tone. Over time, the plastic versus metal portions of the exterior have taken on a different shade. The drive-by-wire throttle on this car is very sluggish, it feels like a 1980's turbo (Turbo Lag) and this car is not a turbo. When I get ready to replace this car, I will definitely consider another Genesis if they have fixed the faults in it.

hyundai genesis 5.0 r-spec

great car with lots of pep. Handles very well. On a recent trip we got up to 28 mpg at highway speed. Comfortable ride that feels secure on the road.

Outstanding for the Price

I must say that I have not been satisfied with the noise mitigation on this vehicle , for the price and other quality of the car I have only been dissatisfied with both of the new Genesis because of the amount of noise in the cabin. I loved the design of the 2010- and the 2013 Genesis R Spec that I have ownened however. I hope they will do more on the quality of the seat coverings on the vehicle as I've had issues with both vehicles needing replacement sest covers and at one point had to have a professional shop in town repair the cover and seating under covers on the seats. The vehicle has performed flawlessly mechanically. As for the ride the Car has a rather firm ride but I feel that was the design for the R-Spec because it is a performance based vehicle. I was planning on buying a 2016 Genesis but unfortunately they changed the body style to the point that in my opinion it made the vehicle front grill look cheapened and took the classyness away and makes it look like a Chrysler to me. For that reason alone I will not be purchasing anothe Genesis.

my genesis

this is our only car at this time. it is and has to be reliable for that reason! I am the driver since my husband has Parkinson's and cannot drive. The service I receive is excellent and I have confidence in turning the car over to Jim Burke Hyundai. I formerly drove a Mercedes 430.

More Bang for the Buck!

I enjoy my Hyundai Genesis. I love the style, the ride, great on gas and smooth highway driving as well as city. It's classy and truly give a lot of the comforts of a luxury vehicle. I have the benefits of an high end luxury vehicle without the cost of high maintenance fees. I love it!
