Improvement recommendations

My wife LOVES the look and feel of her 2015 Genesis. There is a very appealing design that looks classy and not overdone. I enjoy driving her car but I have a few wishes or recommendations that I’d like to have in her vehicle. 1. Front cameras for parking. With the LOW profile front end a camera should’ve been included to assist owners from front end damage, especially in parking areas with the cement blocks on the front of the parking space. 2. Phone chargers. USB or Cigarette lighter type power connectors. It’s 2015, all cars should have USB connectors by now. There should be a USB for each passenger. 3. A cell phone cubby on the dash. A place to set a cell phone in a position that is visibly accessible for the Driver especially for navigation purposes. It should be able to charge the phone when placed inside like a cordless charger. Phones used for navigation often drain the battery, this will be another selling point. 4. Center console cigarette or power connectors are DIFFICULT to get to if you’re a normal size human being. Angle the slot upward for ease of connection and either put a useable tray in or remove the that tray period and provide more space to love the control column forward and extend arm rest storage space. Placement of the USB charging ports forward on the dash is user friendly for Driver and a SAFER placement than having to reach backwards to connect or reconnect phone or charger raising the potential for accidents. Distracted driving consideration. 5. A discretely hidden PULL DOWN shade for the windshield when parking. The rear window has a sun protection screen that in electrically operated. There should be a way to install a forward shade to be manually pull down when vehicle is parked. 6. I would take a job helping designers or R&D departments for Hyundai or Genesis.

Best car I have owned!

This car has everything you want in a luxury car. It looks amazing. The engine is powerful. The interior is a fortress of solitude. The car has all the latest tech safety features available. Every time I want toward my car, I catch myself smiling!

Stay away!!

This vehicle has had recurring problems with the sunroof, turn signals and trim. As some one already mentioned: "not ready for prime time." This is not what I expect from a luxury car and the manufacturer appears ill-equipped or disinterested in handling handle the problems.

The BEST vehicle ever owned

At 55 years of age I have bought A LOT and I do mean A LOT of vehicles starting at 16 years of age and my Genesis has topped them all! I've had Jaquars, I was raised up riding in nothing but Cadillacs and my Genesis has topped them all. This vehicle is beyond words, it does exactly what its advertised to do which is bringing is owner power, efficiency and top notch luxury. I leased a 2013 Genesis 5.0 R-Spec, loved, loved, loved it and today I own a 2015 Genesis 5.0 with all the bells and whistles. It gives me great pleasure when driving. Hyundai you did really, really, really well with the Genesis keep up the good work and keep making the Genesis' they are a top notch luxury vehicle with very reasonable pricing for its class.

Great Car

I love my Genesis. It is the nicest car. I love the V8 engine, the interior is lovely. It drives very smoothly. I love the back seat curtains and the rear window curtain. It allows the interior to stay cooler.

Nice Vehicle

Really sharp looking, excellent ride. It has plenty of power and the mikes per gallon is very reasonable. However, I’ve had many electrical issues and many other issues with this particular vehicle. Thankfully, they were covered under warranty.

One of the best...

Cars I have owned. Equiped with almost every gadget available for that year thiscar is excellent. I have the 5.0 V8 and you’d be amazed, its a sleeper. Equiped with with 420 horses, it can move. Some of the ponies around can tell you this. It also has an adaptive cruise control and active lane keep assist which makes this car almost drive itself. Excellent sound system and excellent handling and stability on the road.

Most dependable car

I road tested many cars including Mercedes and Audi. Genesis came on top. Absolutely great car. My riders give me the look of amazement when I accelerateto safely merge into moving traffic. Powerful car. My 13 year old grandkid tells me "t's so smooth.."

2015 Genesis 6 cyclinder

This is my second Genesis. I receive many compliments on my car in town and out of town. The 2015 Genesis is very quite like my Toyota Highlander Hybrid SUV. The luxury without paying the high luxury price, all the features are delightful, and not having to use super unleaded is truly a benefit in the long run. The Genesis is roomy and comfortable while driving. The best warranty in town.

I have been very happy with our Genisis except the heated seats do not evenly heat and have been told there is nothig that can be done about it.

I love this car

I got this car used this summer. I really like how it cruises and the v6 power. Maitanence so far is easy and the car is fair on gas. It is very comfortable inside and the tech features are very good for a 2015 model. Love how the car looks , it does weigh a lot though and I feel it when I go down slopes. Transmission is good and optimal at cruising but it looks like it doesnt like to be driven "sporty " with quick turns and quick paddle shifting. Hoping it will last for a long time. I am impressed with Hyundai as this is my first vehicle from them.

Love my Genesis

I bought my Genesis bc I read the reviews. They were all so good I thought well if half of what they say is true, I can’t go wrong. Well I was not disappointed. Actually, everything they said was true. My daughter has a Mercedes and she couldn’t get over things I have that she doesn’t have on hers like, cooling seats, heated stirring wheel, and she said my navigation system was much better than hers. It also has side screens on the back windows and one on the large back window. It has keyless entry and keyless start. The trunk opens automatically when you stand in front of it with the key on you. It has a lock inside the glove box which locks the trunk, so it can’t be opened even with the key or inside button. That is a great feature for Christmas shopping, it makes it difficult for anyone to take your packages. The warenty is great and the service is totally professional.

Never Thought I Would Love A Hyundai

But overall I do love my 2015 Genesis. But....there are a few quirks that could lead me to not but another one down the road. There was a computer issue with the info cluster on the dash causing an incorrect odometer reading for the rest of its life. Next, the front sensors went from being overly sensitive (going off all the time for no apparent reason) to not working at all UNLESS I put the car in reverse and back up an inch or two, then put it back in drive. That sucks big time. Next, the panoramic sun roof gets hung up in closing process and starts baking up and NO NOTHING is blocking it. Next there is too little clearance under front bumper making it easy to damage, especially when the dang sensors aren't working! Next, I can't find anyone who is willing to change the trunk lid crooked H to the Genesis wings. Don't know why I had to have the crooked H to begin with. Many other 2015 models have it. Next, why on earth are there no USB or other power outlets available in the back seat?? But yes overall I love my Genesis!

Just drive it!!! Need I say more. It handles like a fighter jet, goes like a rocket! Awesome interior and instruments! No matter what size you are the seats will conform to your body and make a three or a five road trip so enjoyable!!!

All that is expected

Just finished reading a Road and Track review of my Genisus. They thought the car performed above expectations for what it is. I totally agree. The car is the true essence of a luxury sports car. All the cruising luxuries along with the sense of sportiness one should want. Kind of having your cake and eating it too. For the generation that seeks a bit more luxury but can't quite give up the thrill of being sports driven in their youth, this car is for you! My wife and I both qualify. We are in our 70s and need a little comfort/luxury once forsaken for the thrill of being "sporty". Ironically we've found we can have it all.

Genesis 2015

Very nice car to drive, has a lot of features that most other cars in its class do not. We've had a few problems with some of the electronics that they haven't seemed to be able to fix yet. There has been two major recalls which they took care of.

Understated Luxury

In a world filled with so many BMWs and Mercedes, I love driving the Genesis and seeing people do a double take. As the title of my review states “understated luxury” not so pretentious where I can’t take it grocery shopping, but a fine car to pull up to valet in Vegas and see it get parked amongst the exotics! Loved this car from day 1 and still feel the same way a year later. I have the V8 5.0 liter engine and it’s like driving a sports car. Even with its weight, car is solid and sport mode truly unleashed the beast under the hood and in the chassis. Proud to be a mom driving this exceptional car with a booster seat for the kid in the back!

I enjoy driving my Genesis everyday

My Genesis just turned five years old and is running fine. Hyundai has done a great job of standing by me on any issues I have had with my car. All in all i love my car and will would buy it all over again. Great engineering and comfort and looks great t00!

Amazing

The Genesis has proven itself as a luxury vechicle with all of the bells and whistles. Enjoyment is one of the beauties in owning a luxury car with the best warranty by far...I purchase my Genesis 4door Sedan black with beige interior in 2017, certified pre owned.
