Bad Communication

Since purchasing the vehicle in 2015 I did experience a simple water leak after just two days (It overheated as a result). That was fixed to my satisfaction. THen I experienced a power steering problem which I believe was quite an expensive repair (covered under guarantee). This too, was fixed to my satisfaction. I was provided with a rental car during the repair. (I must say that Mike Hopkins took very good care of me. During one of services I experienced problems with my cell phone operation. Sean in service was excellent. Now, after some 3 years I experienced yet another water leak (over heated again). Having said all that I must say that I love the car. It drives beautifully & is exceptionally light on gas.

Service

Great car, I have always drove Mercedes, but my Tax agent told me about this car and said its a better car and more comfortable with more features and less expensive than Mercedes, he told me to check it out. I did and I was amazed. I will always drive the Genesis. Would like to trade for a new one for an excellent deal only. I will get one!

2015 Genesis Ultimate

The best car and value ever. This car is the 4th Hyundai product in a row. Elantara, Sonata, Azera, Genesis. Reliability is unparalleled. The Azera was nice but right after I purchased it I moved to an area that is minimally hilly. The Azera could not make it on a gentle slope with some snow on the ground. The answer was a trade-up to an AWD Genesis. --A perfect car!

BEST CAR I HAVE EVER OWNED, BEST VALUE AND WOULD ONLY BUY IT WITH THE ULTIMATE PACKAGE. The 3.8 AWD is the best options does well in heavy rain and snow. The technology and safety features are the best.

Best vehicle I’ve purchased ever!

Comparable to any luxury vehicle on the market! Many of my friends drive BMW’s Lexus Cadillacs and they are impressed with my Genesis. Sleek design and interior is superb! Will purchase another Genesis soon .

Happy with the Genesis.

My experience with the 2015 Genesis has been very good. No complaints at all. Service center is one of the best. Dealership is good. I purchased the Platinum warranty, but have not had to really use it up to the current 75000 miles.

Not many flaws in an otherwise perfect balance of a mid size luxury semi-performance sedan.

I traded in my 2010 Subaru Legacy 3.6R Limited. Switched to the Genesis Signature Series with the Technology Package. Really liked the look and lines and the fit and finish of the exterior and interior. Handling and perfromance to quickly get out of the way and not a rocket ship nor with the MPG rating penalty of a V8. Drives like a rear rear drive and handling was toward perfect balance in the curves. Breakneck speeds no but it can surprise you and the engine noise when pushed sounds great. Cabin soundproffing very good but not hush quiet. You feel the road but not even close to annoying unless you're picky. The A Pillars are a little large but can be understood because of the glass roof. That operates without a flaw. The other dig is that the rear seats don't fold down. You do have a pass through. No big deal with me since I think I needed my seats down twice in eight years. Average between 22 MPG if you minimize your very heavy right foot. Oh yes, less I forgot, there are three drive modes. Normal, ECO, Sport. All three can change power steering boost and transmission shift point changes. No changes are to soften or stiffen the suspension settings available. Good suspension though. Thank's about it... Glad I made the move and there is a lot more but then I would be boring. Go research the car your self if you've had the patience to read this. Take care...

Love My Genesis

The Genesis is a quality build. Both the interior and exterior design, just overall styling is impressive. I have received many compliments from people I encounter in gas stations, drive thru windows, waiting in arrivals at the airport. Performance on the road is probably what I enjoy the most.

New owner Review

Car has slight drag when you let off accelerator. Didn't have this with Lexus, it evidently shifted into neutral when you let off. Really miss rear door lock unlock and having to touch the unlock button to open the door. Most controls more complicated than my LS430. Don't understand the inabilitie to obtain service manual (online). Dealer says contact Hyundai, Hyundai says contact dealer. Loaner service cars should be Genesis not Hyundai.

The Buick Returns

I have a Mercedes E350 of the same year. The Genesis is much quieter with a plusher road feel. The maintenance costs are about half, too. If you want silence and a super plush ride like a Lincoln Continental from the 80s you will love the Genesis G80. The power and performance are perfect.

This car is great! I will purchase another Hyundai. It has been reliable, comfortable, and stylish. Excellent on gas mileage. High level on performance and features are phenomenal. Recommend Hyundai to anyone that’s searching for the best vehicle. Don’t know why I didn’t purchase earlier.

My BLUE genesis

BOUGHT a low mileage used genesis. Thus car isn't just a vehicle it is a. Experience. We have taken a couple 1000 mile round trios in the car and it is a pleasure not at all tiring. Upgrade from azera and we loved that car

Problem with radio system 2 years

Issues between 35k to 50k miles: 1. My radio has been REPLACED 3 times. 2. display keeps going black; 3. temperature doesn't reflect 4. Backup camera stopped working 5. Both clocks stop working 6.Now analog clock not working 7. Ticking noise 8. Dealership wrecked my car while in their care. 8. Can't adjust speaker controls while driving who wants to pull over on a trip.

Love My Genesis

I am totally in love with my Genesis! I love everything, the design, the comfort of the ride, the gas mileage and most of all, the Warranty that comes with it. It is great on long distance trips! I would definitely purchase another one!

I like my Genesis

There some pro and con. little thing go wrong like in electronics. I love the car and would get another one.When something wrong the dealer gives me a loaner car and fixes the problem. There are some things the manufacture needs to improve.

Great Car

Very good car and great warranty at a very good price! Able to use with regular gasoline. Hyundai needs Genesis Deslers solely, and not combination dealers with all models being serviced in same dealership.
