People don't know what their missing!

I must say that i have always been a Cadillac girl until i got this car! I had a Cadillac but the tech and features in this car is awesome! I can see how fast i am going in my windshield as well as my GPS which means i am more focused on the road. The BlueLink feature is great aa well wirh this vehicle. I guess all i can say is...I LOVE MY CAR AND AM NO LONGER A CADILLAC GIRL!!! My husband fell in ? with this car from day one. I wouldn't trade it for anything!!!! People have no idea what kind if car it is because its unique. Someone thought it was a Bentley! Its so sexy!!!!!

Why another Genesis?...

We recently (9/2018) purchased a 2015 certified pre-owned Genesis that was just off lease. It will replace our 2009 Genesis, which still looks and drives like it’s new, which has been very reliable and which we would have kept for many more years if not for the fact that we recently moved to a snowy mountain top and our ‘new’ 2015 has all wheel drive. The 2009 is still such a great car that we gave it to our son who lives in Maryland, where heavy snow isn’t a factor. The Genesis is the most comfortable and reliable car we’ve ever owned and the improvements and standard options made available in the 6 years since we purchased our first model are amazing and would have cost thousands more in other luxury cars. We are customers for life. Really!

Great car

I enjoy my genesis as it is very easy to travel on long trips with all the safety features as standard features. The quite is very relaxing on trips, great gas millage. Needless to said it is very comfortable and the treatment of the rear view morrow and outside morrows to darken at night when another vehicle light shine on it is very nice touch. Also the night light of the instrument cluster and auto headlight dim and rain sense is a night touch as standard features that other companies charge extra for.

Great car for the price.

The Genesis is hands down the nicest car we’ve ever owned. It’s quick and fun to drive I’ve been stopped several time by people who want to know what I’m driving. A friend that drives a BMW says the Genesis has a better ride than his far more experience car.

Stylish

I previously owned a 2012 Genesis and really loved it; but, when the 2015 Genesis day-viewed, it was love at first sight. I had it two weeks before my wife noticed it. The 2015, like my 2012, is very dependable and low-cost to own. and requires little to no maintenance to own. I wash it weekly and change the oil and rotate the tired every 5,000 miles. Other than that, I just enjoy the car. No matter where I travel, people admire my Genesis and ask many questions about it.

2nd. Genesis

After 3 years, I still enjoy driving my G Series 5! And we continue to receive compliments on the 'look' of my G. We made a the right decision over the A7. It would be great if Hyundai provided access to mobile apps that could be downloaded and be available on the Nav' dasboard...such as Waze, Open Table for example.

Awesome Vehicle! Awesome Price!

This is the second Genesis I have owned, the first being a 2010 (second year made), so I have experienced the beginning of the Genesis brand. My current Genesis is a 2015 which was updated since 2010 to have the same features at the 2011 Equus. I was SO excited when I sat in my 2015 to find the upgrades! That's one reason why I love Hyundai....they continue to improve the technology and style. The second reason is the price. Before I bought the 2015 I did investigate Cadillac and found that you still get much better technology for far less money than Cadillac (and all the other luxury brands). I look forward to buying many more!!!

Some things make no sense

Overall, this is a fantastic vehicle compared to others in the same price category. Safety features like Blind-Spot Assist, Automatic Emergency Braking,Rear Cross Traffic Warning and Lane-Keep Assist came standard in this car. The front seats with the seat extender make me feel like sitting a MB S Class. The 3.8 engine packs a punch when needed but stays in the background on your daily commute. The 8-speed tranny is a perfect match. I get about 23MpG on my commute, mostly highway with some stop and go. Why no 5 stars: 1. Believe it or not, factory default this vehicle has NO FOG LIGHTS! That is a serious issue. You can get them after-market in case you buy a Genesis without. 2. The voice control menu is not as good as Subaru or others, especially with a connected mobile phone. 3. Navigation system is over-complicated. 4. The vents in the dash are not illuminated. (much cheaper Subaru Outback has them) 5. There is no seat heating for the back-row ( much cheaper Subaru Outback has them). But again, I purchased this car as a 2015 CPO (certified pre-owned) with a 6 year remaining warranty for less than $27K with 20k miles on it. In this price segment I would have gotten a bare bones 2014 E Class or a higher mile Audi A6 3.0 with less features, perhaps a BMW 528i with that horrible nagging 4cyl turbo engine. None others would have given me the 6 years of warranty I enjoy now.

2015 genesis

Car performs well. Think the 2015 model is not as well appointed inside as the 2017 and up. Quite pleased with the car. Seats are not as comfortable as newer models. Overall car is a good value although I hear it does not retain its value.

Bugs need to be worked out still!

I love my genesis but it’s occasionally got a mind of its own when it comes to the electronics in the car. The brakes also become extremely touchy whenever it wants to then it goes back to normal on its own.

Great car!

Lots of bells and whistles...make diagnoses and repair more complicated. Overall, a great car. I have moved up from an Elantra to a Sonata and now to a Genesis. Hyundai’s are all good...the Henesis is definitely luxurious.

love the car has been super reliable .

I took a chance on purchasing this car it was new redesigned and was full of gizmos . You never purchase a new redesigned car but I must admit this one Hyundai or Genesis did right. I have had one annoying issue with it which I can never duplicate when I bring it in for service . Its just a noise which always goes away. I just wish I knew what it was. 60,000 miles and she is still going strong .

Love My Car

Beautiful style, smooth ride, so many great features, Heads Up feature is so nice, shows speed limit, my speed and cars that are on either side of my car in the front windshield, I don't have to look down or in my mirrors so distraction is at a minimum. It has exceptional quality, gets lots of compliments wherever I go and frankly, I don't know how I survived all those years without the adaptive cruise control found on the Genesis. An exceptional vehicle for anyone considering buying a new car.

This is my best car ever, and I’m 65.

Love my 2015 Genesis! The ride and handling is excellent, although my 2012 Genesis seats are more comfortable. The all wheel drive is a must in Upstate New York. The 3.8 motor sounds great with plenty of power, passing is a breeze. Forget German, save some money and buy Hyndai.

Genesis difficult to replace bulbs

I am upset that it is so expensive to replace bulbs for this car, I like the car still getting used to it but 5 months and I'm replacing a bulb that might not last another 5 months and I am not sure if there's a warranty on it.?

Issues with Vehicle

I own a 2012 Genesis before the 2015. The quality between both vehicle is a lot. It is a very good looking vehicle but the quality has dropped from 2012 to 2015. I would not buy or lease another Genesis.

Have owned this car since 2015 and it has proven to be an excellent buy. Lots of room in the back as well as the front and my husband loves the comfort of the passenger seat. I researched cars for about 2 years before settling on the Genesis and have not been disappointed.

This vehicle, beyond being the best vehicle I have ever owned (over a fifty year period), it is the best car I have ever driven. Specific evaluation is reflected in below values. There is an issue with power windows (particularly rear) not operating intermittently.
