Once of my best car purchases ever!
I love the Genesis. I've had multiple Mercedes, BMWs, an Audi, a Lexus and an Infiniti. This car not only feels as heavy and solid as the German cars, it is more solid than the Infinity or Lexus which have more plastic in the interior.
I chose it because it had EVERY possible safety and convenience feature I wanted, which were difficult to find on any car, let alone all of them! And the second reason was the unbelievable sound system, the 17 driver, 7.1-channel Lexicon Discrete Surround Audio System. The only other vehicle with a Lexicon sound system is the Rolls Royce Phantom. Just quickly, the door drivers are mounted to metal, which is almost never done due to the extra cost. The bottom line is that, at the loudest volume you could tolerate, you simply can't distort sound with this system.
The comfort and luxury of the interior meets and often exceeds the other luxury cars I've owned, and every person who's ever ridden in it says that within minutes.
My son, who is car snob and had a Mercedes CLS550, found a reason he always needed to take MY car instead of his. It's an incredible value and rivals any top-line luxury car from any maker.
