Genesis is a great car.

We love our G80. I picked it for it's safety features but it has style and luxury too. The interior controls are well placed and seating is roomy and comfortable. We live the heads up display, lane asstst, and blind spot warnings. We are very happy with our G80 and are planning our next future G80.

Disappointing car. I bought a Genesis (2016 Loaded) and now informed it isn't really a Genesis, but a Hyundai. Only the Genesis made from 2018 on are "Real" Genesis.

This car has tons of issues with the navigational system, cannot receive updates (as promised during the lease transaction) so I have a car (lease) for 4 years that can't be updated. The lessor model Hyundais are able to get updates and a fully loaded Genesis (2016) cannot. Imagine. Huge disappointment. The radio blares out "Download was unsuccessful - would you like to try again?" after about 3 or 4 minutes driving. My passengers and well as myself are alarmed by the broadcast! Every imaginable bell and whistle, but just can't be "updated" to keep up with the latest and greatest!

there are so many things about this car i cant begin to start. 1 beauty 2 reliable 3 service i receive . 4 5 6 and on and on love the car. cant see how they can improve the car but cant wait to see what more they can do.

It's an excellent piece of machinery.

The minute you take a look at the Genesis sedan, you immediately know it's not your normal run-of-the-mill vehicle. You can see class, difference, luxury, and you can very well imagine it's a wonderful ride. I can feel the stares, and hear the comments when I stop at the gas pumps or in the grocery parks. And oh, the beautiful sound it makes on the highway.

One that will never disappoint

I absolutely love this car! I have been driving it for 2 years now and it still turn heads. The color pops! The style..one word ...ELEGANT! Every time I get in this car, I feel like I am truly somebody...lol..

Great Vehicle

I previously owned two Toyota Avalons and these cars do not compare to my 2016 Genesis. The Genesis is an extremely comfortable driving vehicle with great lines and features. I get so many compliments on its looks. Will be looking for another Genesis when my lease is up.

It’s NOT a Mercedes

Horrible build quality for a luxury brand, squeaks and rattles since day one, especially in my glass roof (primary reason for my purchase) like the one in my Mercedes! No fix per Hyundai corporate. Rattle continues, and I was told by Hyundai “it’s not a Mercedes”! Only it cost $10,000 MORE than my Mercedes

Very nice car needing few more improvements

Very nice and handsome car with many features. But it can use few improvements. Such as rev matching on the downshifts, better and more distinctive engine and exhaust sound, improved steering feel, more interesting interior and interior lighting design.

Hands down the best luxury car you can buy for the money

I absolutely love my Genesis Ultimate sedan. It has every possible feature and technology available in a luxury car. I really care about safety features and this car has every one. I am not someone who would spend $100,000 on a car, but with this car I am getting a $100,000 package for a reasonable and fair price. The only thing I don't like about this car is that the rear seat doesn't fold down which is very inconvenient.

Best Luxury Vehicle For The Money

This is the second Hyundai Genesis that I have owned. I love this car more than the first one. I previously owned a 2012 Genesis. That car was great, but did not handle well in the snow due to the rear wheel drive. This car is all wheel drive and does great in all weather conditions. I have to say that I am amazed at how many people compliment me on the style of the car. Like the 2012, people on the street always ask me what kind of car I'm driving. Many people think it is a new model BMW. The car drives great. All features are good. I'm 6'2" tall. There is plenty of room in the car. My son is 6'8" and can sit in the rear comfortably without anyone having to move the front seats forward. I'm at 60,000 miles on this car. I'm sure I will be driving it for 2-3 more years. I look forward to buying the next version of the Genesis.

Superb Vehicle

I have owned expensive luxury cars all my life. Starting with a Rolls Royce, several Mercedes-Benz, Acura, Cadillacs, Lincoln’s, and a few foreign sports cars. The Genesis is by far the best automobile I have ever owned and driven. There is no comparison with any of the previous vehicles that I’ve owned. My current Genesis is my 3rd Genesis, and will continue to buy Genesis in the future.

Beautiful looking vehicle with shoddy hardware integrity.

After reading the positive reviews and admiring this beautiful vehicle, I leased my Genesis in August of 2016. After driving it for over a year now, I am satisfied with its performance and safety features. As a senior, I find the technology, especially the Nav system more complicated than intuitive. The big disappointment has been the interior hardware. I'm about 210 pounds and the plastic drivers side underneath support has broken twice, causing me a couple of long days at the service department. I have never owned a car where I had to so gingerly exit and enter so that the plastic seat support would not shatter again. A couple of weeks ago, on a long road trip the seat belt assembly just came apart as well. When my wife went to buckle up, the tongue of the belt that goes into vehicle anchor popped out and couldn't be re-inserted creating a dangerous driving situation over 200 miles from home. If anyone reading this review can get me out of last 15 months of my lease of this shoddy machine, you will have a friend for life.

Punches far above its cost

Genesis is a great up and coming brand. These cars have all the latest bells and whistles. Lane tracking collision avoidance, heads up display. Along with independent heat and cool zones front and back. Driven over 800 miles in a day in this car and ride was comfortable and smooth all the way. Good power acceleration and super smooth transmission make for a great ride

Genesis

I love the car, but at 30,000 miles there are more rattles than expected. The drivers seat feels like it shifts, the sun roof rattles, as well as the headliner and center console. Also, I see no benefits from service, car never gets cleaned, etc.

Wow! What A Car

The Genesis is the CAR of the road. It gets everyone 's attention. What kind of car is this? is the question I am always asked. When I reply "Why it is a 2017 Hyundai Genesis," I get no way or man you don't have a car but an Automobile. I enjoy the sleekness of the body and the smooth ride.It holds the road well. The safety features are incredible- high beams coming on automatically when needed, warnings on the side mirrors to alert you to cars on your blind side, and a back up camera to alert you as to how close you are to another car or curb,etc. just to name a few. Gas mileage is wonderful as well. Other features are heated seats. adequate leg room, and a well ventilated cooling system. All of these features can be individually controlled. Most of all My Genesis came with all of these features and many more.As a plus, the color is not obtainable any longer. Therefore, My Genesis is one of a kind.
