2016 Genesis 3.8 Seadan Review
Nice car. Real fuel mileage about as expected. Real MPG consistently 1.0 to 1.5 MPG below indicated MPG on dash display. Real MPG is 24.4 MPG over 10,680 recorded miles... See web link at Fuelly.com http://www.fuelly.com/car/hyundai/genesis/2016/hackercrft/451696
Car looks really great. Nice compliments from friends and even strangers in parking lots.
Rattle near steering column when harsh road conditions exist including crossing a lane divider on Interstate highways. Passenger side mirror obstructs view too much to teh right. Huge blind spot. Trunk can't hold 4 sets of golf clubs. Cup holders in center console too small. Check out VW Passat, Jetta, and Honda Civic as examples. The back seat is a little tight for a car with such a long wheelbase. VW Passat has more room in back seat and trunk. Resale value is weak making me reconsider a different vehicle next time. Hyundai has been improving but need to continue to get better. Two different Hyundai dealer sales experiences for Genesis brand are not comparable to much better sales experiences at Infiniti and Lexus dealerships. Hurry up with the new Genesis brand only dealers. They may cure this ill. Comments are meant to be constructive criticism.
