2016 Genesis 3.8 Seadan Review

Nice car. Real fuel mileage about as expected. Real MPG consistently 1.0 to 1.5 MPG below indicated MPG on dash display. Real MPG is 24.4 MPG over 10,680 recorded miles... See web link at Fuelly.com http://www.fuelly.com/car/hyundai/genesis/2016/hackercrft/451696 Car looks really great. Nice compliments from friends and even strangers in parking lots. Rattle near steering column when harsh road conditions exist including crossing a lane divider on Interstate highways. Passenger side mirror obstructs view too much to teh right. Huge blind spot. Trunk can't hold 4 sets of golf clubs. Cup holders in center console too small. Check out VW Passat, Jetta, and Honda Civic as examples. The back seat is a little tight for a car with such a long wheelbase. VW Passat has more room in back seat and trunk. Resale value is weak making me reconsider a different vehicle next time. Hyundai has been improving but need to continue to get better. Two different Hyundai dealer sales experiences for Genesis brand are not comparable to much better sales experiences at Infiniti and Lexus dealerships. Hurry up with the new Genesis brand only dealers. They may cure this ill. Comments are meant to be constructive criticism.

Amazing Car

This is an excellent car! Every day, I feel I am driving a new car. The suspension is superior to audi ( actually is a Lotus design). The comfort, acceleration, and just the whole experience is superlative. No more mercedez or BMW.They stole the audi designers and you can tell. This is and will be my next ride. Can't wait to see the new upcoming models.

Excellent comfort, quiet, gas mileage. A bit more headroom I'm 6'1". Electronics are awesome. Great smooth power. Telescope steering about an inch more would be good.

2017 Hyundai Genesis

The Genesis is built beautifully. I get stopped all the time by people asking "Who makes that? - It's gorgeous." I'm always happy to tell them that I've had Volvo's and Mercedes which weren't as well equipped and didn't handle weather the way my Genesis does. I live in the country, and snow drifts very high. Snow and ice don't drain well from our roads, but the Genesis cuts through anything safely. It's amazing on highway trips as well. Fast. Quiet in the cabin.
