First EV

A beautiful car with so many cool features that make it fun to drive. It is a very comfortable drive. Our favorite feature so far as we are in the hot weather season, is the ventilated seats. Also it is great to create your driver profile so that your seat and mirrors adjust to your personal preference. My taller husband loves that when you get out of the car the seat goes back so he doesn't struggle to get in after I have been driving.

Received excellent customer service from dealership

The IONIQ5 is an SUV with features of a luxury car. It rides smoothly, comfortable seating and spacious. Back seats are comfortable for a tall person. Bose sound system is great and the surround view monitor makes it safer to drive.

Terrible experience

The vehicle I thought I was buying based on the description has a range of 330 miles, takes no more than an hour to charge in a super speed charger and no more than 4 in a b charger. The range is no more than 240 fully charged. it takes 2:30 hours to charge (from 20 to 80%) in a super charger and 6 hours in a level 2. The service from Hyundai is terrible it is like their motto is no response and no care for the client once the vehicle leaves the dealership.

Looking forward to 25 model year updates

I am leasing my 2024 Ioniq 5 Limited and I love it. Everything about the car is fantastic I only have minor gripes. However, those minor gripes are all solved by the presumed changes on the 25 model year. I will be trying my best to purchase an ioniq 5 (maybe 7) once my lease is up

The Ioniq 5 is a Wolf in Sheep's clothing. The ride is like that of a luxury car, the Sport mode gives it the power of a Corvette. The lease payment is like that of a Tucson. Exceptional AWD SUV. The Ioniq 5 looks timid, However the SUV is fast and fun to drive.

Love this vehicle

This vehicle is absolutely beautiful and the best car all around. The car is stylish, unique, and stands out from other electric cars. The roominess, quick acceleration, and quietness in the car provides such a great experience. The car handles extremely well and has a nice variety of amenities. The car is well pack for an affordable price. Premium audio is a must have!

Love the features

I am still working through all the great features but I find use for the and Love It! The Salesman in Elmhurst Hyunday was awesome and I enjoyed the opportunity to test other vehicles. I started with the Ionic 5 and liked it best.

Technologically advanced cool looking futuristic EV that stands out from the crowd (i.e. Tesla)

I love how this EV looks: stunning design, beautiful proportions, retro-futuristic looks. Ride and build qualities are great. Quick charging from 10 to 80% in 18 minutes is mind blowing. I've been getting compliments from all over. Definitely recommend 100% to anyone.

Excellent Value for Money

The vehicle is well-designed, and offers many features of both functionality and comfort. This vehicle is incredibly quiet, and even the tire/road noise is minimized. It has excellent acceleration, smooth braking, and a very nice feel to the steering. The suspension system is very robust and tight, but not excessively so. It performs turns and curves at posted speeds with grace and control. The exterior design is eye-catching, and the lights are very cool. Very pleased and proud to own and drive this vehicle.

Great ride

Driving the Ioniq 5 is a delight, but wish we had bought the AWD model instead. However, the RWD offers a smooth, stable ride, adaptive cruise control, and multiple driving modes, including a one-pedal driving option. The spacious interior, sliding rear seats, and semi-automated lane changes add to its appeal as a family-friendly electric vehicle.

Met my expectations and then some.

This vehicle is the right size with the right features without being extravagantly silly. Performance is off the charts. Real-world range in mild to warm weather exceeds factory estimates, often over 300 miles.

A great car that fits me perfectly!

I enjoy driving to work again! The Ioniq 5 is a great car. The car handles great with the added weight of the battery you get a low center of gravity making corners and turns smooth, no tippy SUV feeling. Between the visibility and the awesome array of safety sensors the car will keep you safe in this ever increasing world of distracted driving. I just plug “Ghost” in at night and can keep the battery charged most times. If I need to charge while I’m out with the correct charger it’s so fast to get back on the road. Most times when I charge at a public station it is so close to a store I’m able to get my shopping done at the same time. I have been driving Ghost for two months and can’t wait to get back behind the wheel every time. It’s the perfect car for my lifestyle and needs.

It's a great car!

It's a great car. So quiet and powerful. Actually, this is the second time I have driven an electric car. Before I driving this one, I test drived a Tesla model Y. In my opinion, Ioniq 5 is softer than Tesla model Y. Also, I can choose the level of the hardness of Regenerative Braking with Ioniq 5 which is a great plus to me.

Steep learning curve

The bells and whistles are initially distracting and can be dangerously so- get to know them on a remote road without traffic. This is a fun car to drive if you drive the car and don’t allow the car to drive you.

Distinct design

Hyundai Ioniq 5

I love my ioniq 5. The range is displayed and is always accurate and adjusted to everything you use in the car. Turning the heat up, using the sport driving mode, etc. always effects the range. The car charges very fast and in the summer I get over 300 miles of range. In the winter I get about 280 which is much better than other models. It does have one pedal driving and the car will regenerate battery but the i-pedal which automatically brakes for you doesn't stay on all the time and I use the mode everytime I drive so it is a little inconvenient but it's not that big of a deal. If you back up it turns off. Other than a few minor things this car is by far the best car I ever owned. I rated value lower because the depreciation on this car is so high that the cars value goes down very quickly.

Great all around electric car

Feels like I’m driving a car out of the future. The car is very comfortable. Well, Hyundai did not have to do it. This car feels completely different than a gas car. And I think because of this, I probably drive it differently than I would a gas car.
