Great MPGs...At A Cost

The Ioniq Hybrid is a great vehicle for those commuting that strictly need a great MPG car to get from point A to Point B. We average about 51 MPG combined and love not having to fill up very often. The entertainment system is fantastic and Android Auto gives you a GPS automatically, so there is no need to get the upgraded model. However, the road noise and the sluggish acceleration, make it a tough choice if you've experienced some of the more refined competitors to the Ioniq.

Base model Ioniq Blue

This vehicle replaced my 2013 VW TDI. Hyundai had a great lease incentive and promotional rebate for me. The exterior is much more appealing compared to the Prius and it doesn't sacrifice a 3rd passenger in the rear like the Volt. Controls are simple and easy to manipulate. Good standard features for the price. The Ioniq definitely is not a high performance driving machine in that you aren't going to blow the doors off other vehicles out there, however you will be visiting the gas pumps much less at 53-55 mpg.

Best car ever

I bought an Ioniq in June. It has proven to be a great car so far. I bought it for the gas mileage, mainly, but it is a pleasure to drive also. Great mileage, smooth ride, and a good looking car. I also love the safety features, especially the side cameras that alert you when there is a car in your blind spot. Great choice on my part. great car.

Surprisingly great hybrid!

This has to be a class leading car. Most any safety, comfort and convenience option offered on any car is available on the Ioniq, and it is a well designed car on the exterior and interior. The ride is solid with generally low road noise. Excellent value for the money. Does not quite live up to mpg ratings.

The Ioniq that I bought from Ladin Hyundai was an excellent purchase. Not only was it a good deal, but the sales people were very, very low pressure and kind. That seems to be the trademark for this dealer.

I get great MPGs. Its comfortable. And it looks good. There have been a few computer glitches with Apple play but that seems to have worked itself out.

Most economical vehicle ever.

I get 60 to 64 miles per gallon on a tank of gas, depending on traffic conditions. Gets better mpg city driving than on the freeway.

Excellent vehicle

Everything about this car is nice, it's like a luxury car without the luxury price. I do have a thread on my steering wheel that is loose that drives me nuts. I drive a lot on the highway; When I drive 70mph I average right under 50mpg when I go 80mph I get like 42mpg. If I drive in below 60mph I get upwards of 50mpg.
