very pleased with the vehicle

I am very pleased with my 2017 Ioniq SEL. The price point was very good, and the fuel economy is wonderful (about 600 miles to a 12-gallon tank). I like that the electric motor works at higher speeds than my Prius did. I also like the physical key controls for audio and climate. Be advised that the SEL doesn't come with a cargo shade or a spare tire, though you can purchase both separately. There are a few bugs in the infotainment and HUD but nothing that will bother the casual user (I'm very technically-minded so I noticed them). I would like to have had a little more storage space in the front of the vehicle. If you drive with your right knee bent and pointed to the right, you may be uncomfortable from the retaining wall of the USB/charging area. Finally, I'm not a huge fan of the way the license plate sits on the rear bumper. But with all of that said -- those are minor annoyances. If you want a fuel-efficient car that is reasonably comfortable and competitively-priced, and fits into small spaces, this is the one to get. Plus, it's just better-looking than a Prius. My Prius looked like a beetle; the Ioniq looks like a slightly-different version of an Elantra. In other words, like a car, not a spaceship.

Pretty much the complete package

Comfort, styling, great interior/exterior color scheme, 55+ mpg in town/50 mpg on 1,000 mile trip (at 75 mph), lifetime warranty on the batteries, full-sized tire profile- are you kidding me!?!? There's NO other hybrid, period, that looks this good, feels this good, is priced this well, is backed by a better reputation! My ONLY objection: the next models absolutely need a dashtop compartment for assorted small items; come on now- you can't tell me you couldn't tuck one in flush for necessary paperwork and small odd items.

Great Vehicle

I have had my vehicle for a month love its comfortable chairs, radio, and clean drive. Enjoy driving it in sport as an owner of Mini Cooper when in sport this thing goes. Sweet intelligent full of safety goodies love this car.

Ioniq's a well made fun car to drive, and wonderfully effecient

She's been much more fun to drive than I had ever expected. Quick, precise and efficient. It has a much more traditional feel and power than the Prius I had test driven. Exceptional handling for any car, hybrid or not. Miles per gallon are on or above stated values for the approaching 10,000 miles I've driven. Excellent value, quality workman ship.

Best car I have ever bought

I just replaced a 2005 Toyota Prius with a 2017 Ioniq Hybrid. Man, cars have come a long way in the past 12 years! I love all of the great safety & convenience features, and the ability to integrate my phone with my car just by plugging it in to charge could not be easier.
