Hmm

Not getting the milage advertised although I am a very conservative driver. On first service interval needed a 4 wheel alignment. A lot of blind spots really needs the proximity detectors. Had to get in and out for a person over 5'10".

Sweet spot

This car looks great, performs great and saves gas and money. I have no mayor complaints about the car. It's a daly driver and is a good long trip driver. The few issues I had are the need for a bit softer seats for long trips (they are very comfortable but need added cushioning for long drives). The low clearance in the back seat (5'10 is the tallest person to seat straight in the back). The lack of a "Normal" driving mode (options are Economy mode 100% time and change to Sport mode some times), the introduction of a normal mode would eliminate the sluggish feel when you just want to go a bit faster. In my case i have to activate and deactivated Sport mode as needed or hit hard the gas pedal. It works well it just feels odd at the beginning.

The Ioniq is underwhelming

The car has a cute look and is purported to be the hybrid with the best mpg in the US, but I've found this is not the case in my experience. The car is a little cumbersome and uncomfortable. The power is lacking, which would be okay if the gas mileage was A+, but it isn't.

Great car

I’ve had my car for seven months and I am very happy with it. I get 62 mpg. It drives wonderful. I will probably buy another Ioniq when I need to buy another car. I drive 125 round trip to work and back so the excellent fuel mileage really helps.

Great car in great price

It is a great car in great price. Sometime I think how Hyundai can give all the functionality in this price. I am very happy with the gas millage. It has heated seat and apple car play. It also supports google phones.

DISAPPOINTED

THE GAS MILEAGE IS POOR PRIUS MIGHT BE BETTER, LOOK ELSEWHERE IF YOU ARE BUDGETING FOR GAS CONSUMPTION, DOES THE NAVIGATION REALLY SUPPOSE TO WORK OR JUST LOOK AESTHETICALLY PLEASING. MAYBE THE 2018 IS BETTER ??????

Ioniq

We love our Ioniq. It has great fuel efficiency and handles well. Even on a long drive it is very comfortable. The Ioniq has a nice sleek look to it. Only complaint would be that the back seat is smaller than I would want.

Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid Great MPG and Fun to Drive!

I am so happy with my Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid, great ride, quiet, comfortable, good styling and really has zip. Hills and winding roads NO PROBLEM, really fun to drive. Good stereo system, heated seats and sunroof really make it a car you can enjoy for an extended drive. I'm averaging 50 MPG because I really push my Ioniq, driving at maximum speed limit, it really gets you where you want to go ASAP. Check one out, I'm glad I did!

Really pleased with our new unique Ioniq

We were looking for a hybrid vehicle and had expected to buy another Toyota Prius, but the (two prior purchases) dealer’s attitude, we responded to an ad about Ioniq online and took a test drive. We were very impressed with the salesperson and manager at a competing dealership, but ended up buying from a dealer close to home.

Ioniq is worth the wait!

The Ioniq was worth the wait. This was my first electric vehicle and I have been very happy these first two months. My favorite feature is actually the heated seats! I was thrilled that the base model came with so many features. Apple Car Play is another really nice feature. The rear hatch is huge and has a privacy screen. I haven't had any "range anxiety" so far because I am able to charge (level 2) at work every weekday. I found I have missed having a rear windshield wiper which I have had in all my past cars. I have to park outside overnight so the rear window is often wet in the morning. It was a little hard to get used to the bar that goes through the rear window. This is also my first time having a rear camera which is really nice to have, especially with my stealthy/quiet car.

Great Hybrid

If you are in the market for a Great vehicle at a fair price, the Ionic is for you! Great styling, not boxy or spaceship styling, along with the best in class MPG and you have a vehicle that is quite, comfortable and good looking.

good

Good execution for your hybrid. Prefer CVT transmission. Slow acceleration initially. Once you get going it is fine. I have owned the C-Max & Prius in the past and I did like having a wiper on the rear hatch. Our first tank only yielded 45 mpg. Hopefully our driving adjustments will improve to the advertised 55 to 58 mpg. I like the driving style display to assist in improving our economical driving.

A Great Value and Another Great Hyundia

We traded in a 2014 Prius V for the new Hyundai Ioniq. The Ioniq rides and drives much like other traditionally aspirated engines; it's fit and finish and interior comfort are top notch, and in the three months we've owned the car, we've averaged 58 miles per gallon in routine driving. Yes, 58! That's about 25% better than the Prius, with better pickup, handling, visibility, and comfort.

hyundai Ioniq

This survey and review is quite lengthy. So far, the Ioniq has been fun to drive. It has been driven in snowy condition and has exceed my expectations. The interior and instrument panel controls are quite different compared to my previous vehicle. As far as reliability, only time will tell. quite satisfied, so far.

Economic, Energy-saving, and Cute

I love this car. It's comfortable, has all the features I need, and saves me an incredible amount of money in gas top-ups. It also helps me feel less guilty for the large amount of driving I do, as it is extremely energy efficient and thus reduces its ozone impact. I have, however, two criticisms. The first, it it has very low horsepower. If a semi-truck were to pull up beside or behind me, my ability to drive out of its way is not something I might be able to rely on. Second, it has a strange design through the back window which causes there to be a bar in the middle of the top and bottom window. I guess this is allow for larger area to be covered with less breakable glass? But it does take away some of the visual I have of what is directly behind me.

Good car, bad manufacturer.

The car gets great gas mileage. The "optional" trunk/cargo cover is a serious flaw. The acceleration isn't fast, but that's expected in a hybrid. The heated seats are really good. Easy to drive, but not in cold temps. Nothing responds well to the cold of a Minnesota winter, this car is not an exception. A comfortable ride and the car looks great.

Great vehicle

The car is great. The fuel mileage is over 53 mpg on average. The car drives like any other small sedan. You cant tell you're driving a hybrid. There is a lot of plastic in the car which is my only con and the back window can be a bit difficult to see out of but it comes with a back up camera.

Mpg review

Considering what the Ioniq blue claims on highway mpg i have not come close to reaching that 55 to 57 mpg. Speed limits where I live are 70mph so staying at 70 while diving i average around 42-43 mpg.
