Love this car, but heater broke after just 5000 miles
Very pleased with this car so far. But having the heater and defroster break after just 5,000 miles was hugely disappointing. Took dealer 30 days to diagnose and fix the problem ($6K in repair costs, covered by warranty). Seating is always very comfortable for me in Hyundai vehicles. Only other major complaint is the relatively high interior noise level from road noise; I noticed a much quieter interior in the Sonata that I used as a loaner vehicle. I think Hyundai has to do a lot more work with its dealer training/expertise for EVs, as there seems to be minimal experience with anything other than trivial routine maintenance (e.g. changing the cabin air filer), and one local dealer didn't seem at all interested in my maintenance business. It seems clear to me that local dealers' service teams are still primarily oriented to gas vehicles, with maybe only 1 or 2 EV techs on staff
