Best vehicle ever owned

In my late 40's with 2 young children, we needed more space in our primary vehicle. After extensive research and comparisons (I did a spreadsheet) over a year or 2, the Palisade was released. Being Hyundai drivers for 20 years we were very happy and the reviews didn't disappoint. Checked it at an autoshow. Wife loved it. Purchased March 2020 when they were still very rare (now everywhere!). Fantastic car, so easy to drive. 25K miles in 2 years. Multiple road trips. Joy to drive with no real issues at all. As a big guy 6'3" I fit well too. Wife and I often argue about who gets to take it for the day and who gets the 'older' Sonata, which use to be the one we fought over.

Overall, I’m satisfied with overall performance and value. I’m quite impressed with this vehicle. This is the first Hyundai that I bought and I didn’t think I would like it as much as I actually do now.

We love it!

The Palisade works well for our family. We are all relatively tall. I have 4 kids and the 6 of us sit comfortably. The space in the third row was a definite selling factor for us. The research said that the Palisade has the most space in the back for cargo and passengers. We were not disappointed. It’s the most comfortable drivers seat I’ve ever had as well.

Quality Vehicle

Excellent SUV. Smooth powerful Powertrain. Quality interior. Gas mileage is very good for a large vehicle. All the important things work well, Heater,AC,Audio system,etc. Seating is comfortable with good visibility. Layout of dashboard is well thought out. Great safety features .

Striking appearance

We have owned 4 Hyundais and this vehicle is extremely comfortable and has great curb appeal. Excellent sound system and plenty of cargo space. Play navigation system is top of the line. I would highly recommend this vehicle to anyone if they correct the continuing problem of wind noise in the driver side window. This issue has not been handled well by the manufacturer or dealer.

Experience

Very reliable car. Last four cars have been hyundais. We have never had any major issues with them. Just had to replace the usual things. Biggest expense we had on or vehicles were tires. Would buy a Hyundai again.

Hyundai Pallisade Limited

The Pallisade safety features are very intuitive and as a Senior Citizen (seasoned 69 years) I am very appreciative. My wife who is also 69–likes the Pallisade so much she won’t let me drive it if she is in the car , unless we are doing a long road trip. Works with all our 18 grandchildren and their different seats.

Friggin awesome car

As soon as I saw this car on the road I had to have one. Checkered Flag Hyundai in VB was awesome. Purchased Feb 29 2020 and with 41,000 miles now, still fun to drive. It fits everyone and all their sports gear / luggage / dogs the whole 9. we'll drive this until it dies. Highly recommended it to family and friends.

Our Palisade Experience

Absolutely love the body style/design of this vehicle. This is what attracted me/us initially and then we were blown away with the quality, styling, image and stance of rest of the vehicle. Super impressed when I test drove it. Had a commanding yet elegant touch and feel.

I love the vehicle but the warnings and indicators panels some do not work properly.

Good vehicle but some of the warning and indicators panels some do not work properly. I will contact my dealer at Hyundai Southside to set appointment about some the panel feature that need attention.

Engine problems and visibility during rain

Fun car and good looking to drive in perfect weather condition only but Mechanicle is no good too much trouble for a new vehicle. Engine uses excessive oil and needs to be changed every 2500 miles to protect the engine and lots of fumes from exhaust that I don’t think it would pass emission test.

2020 Hyundai Palisade SEL

Bought our 2020 Palisade SEL as a future family car. This car is luxury at an affordable price. The drive quality is great it handles well in adverse conditions. We live in a high traffic area so the safety features are a huge bonus. The ability to get in and out of the back seats is like a mini van. Plenty of room for adults too. I’m 6’5” and I can comfortably ride in the second row with leg room.

Very happy with my purchase.

The fit and finish on my Palisade are great, both inside and out. I am happy with the performance and gas mileage, both better than i expected. The ride is comfortable. However not as quiet as I expected or would like. I certainly recommend this vehicle. I would not hesitate to buy. I will buy Hyundai in the future.

Great experience, Roberto salesman did an amazing job.

My sales rep was consistent, texted me daily timely to follow up on my vehicle. Great experience. I had a bad experience with the 2020, after talking with Roberto he helped to get another vehicle in my price range and advocated for me as a customer. He assured I was equipped with knowledge about the car and taught me things I never knew and had a pallisade for 2 years.

We love our Palisade. Great performance, beautiful inside and out, comfortable, good mileage, lots of room, classy but can be used for big family or just one or two. Can haul lots of things. Best overall vehicle!!!

Amazing vehicle

I really do love the Hyundai palisade. It’s an sub that offers you everything you need from convenience to safety. I have it for the snow and my daily commute to and from work and it still exceeds my expectations to this day.

Hype is Not Always Worth It

I had this SUV for 2 years. Tires are wore out in less than 30,000 miles. Worm gear in the steering wore out 3 months shy of 2 years. This is a known issue, but no permanent fix. Putting the same subpar parts in for replacement. 4WD is not as good as other Hyundai SUV's I've owned. I was following this SUV online for a year or so before it came out and was very excited to purchase one. Not as excited about it now.
