Love this car!

I am not a fan of the push button gear selector or its configuration. It’s counterintuitive to push the front button to go backwards and the rear button to go forward. On a couple of occasions I thought the car was in F while it remained in R.

Our new ride

We bought the Palisade SEL Premium after selling back our 2024 Santa Fe due to repeated transmission failures. So far, the Palisade is fantastic. It is feature rich and loaded with all the options we wanted in a new car.

2025 Hyundai Palisade is well appointed and accessorized.

Several options which I truly enjoy. The safety features with camera side view display is a nice feature. Blind spot warning and 360 degree top view when backing up are especially nice. The automatic breaking system saved me from collision when I was severely cut off. Six cylinder engine has plenty of pep. I like the preset seat positioning option. This is a well designed vehicle that is very appealing to the eye. Good purchase and a joy to drive.

A Great Vehicle Thus Far With A Lot To Learn

Our previous vehicle was a 2018 Avalon, so moving to the Palisade with all of its new features and functions has been both interesting and a challenge. Overpowering at times. Palisade rides well for a larger SUV, and it's been fun to drive thus far. I said challenge because the number and functions of features are numerous. I'm one of these people who read user manuals on just about everything from cover to cover. I am continuing to review the Palisade's manual to become more familiar with its many features.

This is our second Palisade

We previously owned a 2020 Palisade and loved that vehicle also. This New 2025 Calligraphy Night edition is awesome, but there are a few options we would like to have seen. We would prefer real leather seating instead of the microsuede seats. And with all the technology built into the vehicle, it makes NO sense not to have a wireless CarPlay connection. We should not have to use a plug in USB adapter to create a wireless Bluetooth connection!

Good value

The only things I am missing and wish my Palisade included was electric folding side mirrors and the complete tow package. I spent the same money for my last vehicle & it included both of these features.

Car is unreliable.

Car has been in repair for weeks. Dealership cannot fix the shifter error. Additionally they are unable to fix the android auto issue. We have barely owned the car 2 weeks when the errors surfaced. We are very dissatisfied that the car is so unreliable.

I absolutely love my Palisade

I have been wanting this vehicle for a couple years. I was finally able to get the 2025. It is a dream vehicle. It rides smooth and the seats are so comfortable. I love the fact that the back seat area has its on ac and the captain seats are heated! Lots of room to take friends on vacation with us. This SUV is a keeper!

The Palisade is a great midsize SUV with a luxury feel at a fraction of the price! I love the safety features and the quality of the build. It’s the perfect size for my family. I only with Apple CarPlay worked via Bluetooth instead of having to use a corded phone charger.

Calligraphy Midnight

Upscale feel with extremely smooth ride and very spacious. It gets surprisingly good gas mileage for a larger SUV. Our first trip was a vacation to Florida and it got almost 27MPG on the highway in ECO mode. This is the fourth Hyundai that I have owned.

Suitable for a family

This car is just too big for me and it is hard to maneuver or park. It is comfortable inside with lots of storage. The engine is large enough but it hesitates when you accelerate. It makes a great family vehicle, not a single person’s car.

Calligraphy package

Thought the Calligraphy package came with AWD? The car should be identified as so. Not sure we even have AWD The car should show the designation. Separate the Cruise control from the smart portion. Cruise control is very eradicate while trying to shut the Smart off. Better!

Tech is underwhelming.

User interface is underwhelming. No wireless Android auto is ridiculous in a car in 2025. Hyundai blue link app for remote services rarely work. Push button transmission is awkward. Small gas tank capacity for such a large car.

A comfortable, well equipped vehicle, but has an issue

This 2025 is our 3rd Calligraphy and while we enjoy the vehicle our biggest disappointment is the Hyundai Driver Assist - our 2021 & 2023 Palisade Calligraphy’s we had no issues the system worked flawlessly and we trusted it. This 2025 model is the complete opposite and we cannot trust its operation and DO NOT consider it a safety feature. The vehicle cannot maintain the lane, it wanders and will move from the left side of the lane to the right and cross over the lane stripe into the next lane. It will work correctly for a short period of time and then it’s as if the car is driving with it off. Extremely dissatisfied with the fact that we took it to the dealer and they said they adjusted the camera, but there is nothing more to be done unless Hyundai releases a TSB for a correction. This needs to be looked into because whatever is different in the 2025 model from prior years is not working. Also, Navigation map should show railroad tracks like other in car nav’s as it helps when your not familiar with an area. It also does not provide the most efficient route compared to Google and Apple Maps.

Broke down after 6 days

My Palisade broke down after 6 days, was in the shop 3 times while we were on vacation out of state, the dealership made promises that they then went back on, Hyundai Corporate failed to make it right, and I ended having to buy a new car, pay over $12k in taxes and fees AGAIN, and I’m highly disappointed by the whole experience of buying my first Hyundai and never will again, and I regularly tell all my friends about the awful experience and the awful vehicle I got stuck with.

Sorry that I bought this Palisade

Hated the limited color choice. I hate black interiors. The white/beige interior was fine but a red exterior was not available with the light interior. I settle for the blue only to find we all think the color is black. I have never wanted to buy a black car. Buying the car was time consuming and problematic even though I was paying cash and providing a great trade-in. I see after driving the car that it is too big and wide for where I generally park my car. I have to manually close the left side mirror to safely drive it into and out of my garage. After 3 months, I still don't know how to do basic things with the car dashboard. My wife still has not driven the car (bought 10 weeks ago). She prefers her red Kia Sorento.

The radio interface is terrible. Please see my comments in the Cons section below where I provide more details. The car has a very quite ride, and the safety features and numerous. More time should be spent on providing an update to the radio interface.

80 day review

First 80 days of ownership our Palisade has been in the shop/dealership 5 times for a total of 15 days. The odometer has 800 miles on it of which 300 miles to the dealership and back. Right now we are dealing with a lot of regret in buying a Hyundai. Stockton Hyundai by far is the worse dealership I have ever did business with. Hyundai USA has been very slow to respond to our concerns.

Miss some of the options my Cadillac had

So far so good but for the money I feel like it should be loaded. I wished I would have been put in a calligraphy for this price. I wasn’t given the option to check one out even a 2024 would have been ok in the calligraphy
