Great

Enjoyed my 2022 Santa Cruz until it was totaled. Replaced it with 2023 Santa Cruz. Apparently I can’t get out of this survey without using two hundred characters which is becoming very annoying to me.

so far so good. one recall item addressed and fixed quickly

Nice sport activity or is it sport adventure vehicle? I like it. Great for weekend warrior projects and for the person who isn't sure they need a giant full size truck. Must include the Turbo version. The added HP is worth the extra expense.

Drive by looking good

This vehicle fits me to a T. It is compact, but not too small. Gets good fuel mileage and looks good on me. It is good for short or long trips. I have owned many different kinds of trucks and I believe that this vehicle with all the safety features is a perfect vehicle for a older person to drive.

Great vehicle fun to drive very responsive

Some of the exterior parts are cheap quality non lasting specially the plastic trims fading already I wish I came up with painted trim parts rather than the cheap plastic the front Crome grill chips and the center console scratch easily just by cleaning

The Santa Cruz

Fun, good looking vehicle. Good fuel economy and some nice power. Safe to drive too. Cruzes down the road smooth and takes bumps with ease. Pretty good fuel economy if you remember to keep your foot out of the turbo! Nice interior design with great options on the premium package.

Derik Phillips loves his new Santa Cruz SE

This is my first new vehicle ever. It's a great little truck that act's like a car, but isn't. It's fast and responsive, while hugging the corners. Great sound system with plenty of radio range. Great floor mats but I replaced with weather tech.

Love my Cruz

I get a lot of compliments from the driving public. Always get them when going through a drive thru. Everyone loves the paint color. My wife is going to use this color some where in our new house. Love AWD.

Everything you need for any road trip!

Perfect for day to day or take on the road! Santa Cruz gets great gas mileage in town or on the highways. You can rely on it all the time to ride like a car but handle like a truck. Best of both worlds. Used to haul appliances or take the family on a trip. Comfortable for all who enter. Young to old everyone has enjoyed the ride and had no issues with spacing or comfort.

Santa Cruz Review

No issues at 2200 miles. Naturally aspirated (non turbo) engine is very adequate with regard to acceleration and passing. I didn't want a turbo engine. Fuel economy average is 29.5 MPG with mostly city and some highway driving. This 2023 SEL replaced a 2001 Dodge Ram that averaged 13 MPGs. The bed size has been good for my recent needs, but I do have a factory installed trailer hitch and a 5' x 8' utility trailer if needed. I'll do an update later.

Fun drive

A car that thinks it’s a truck. Drives like a sports car and is sweet looking. This is a nice smaller sized truck that I can use to haul around what I need to haul around. Love the in bed trunk and the bed cover that comes standard.

I was following the development of the Santa Cruz for about 1 year prior to release. I love the vehicle and would recommend it to others. For our family, I call it a Truck-Enough. It's enough truck to satisfy our needs, stylish and very fun to drive.

Love my Santa Cruz

My Santa Cruz is a great vehicle. I don’t believe it is for everyone but perfect for my wife and I. It drives like an SUV not a truck which what I wanted. My wife doesn’t drive so I was able to get something cool and still practical. We have a trailer in a campground on a permanent site and the bed allows us to throw bags of soil, plants, fire wood, chairs and many other things in the back. Love the look, drivability, mileage along with practicality.

Grayson Hyundai Knoxville, ruined my Santa Cruz and Hyundai Customer service would not make the situation right

Hyundai did not fix my vehicle after the Grayson Hyundai in Knoxville, TN left the dipstick out that saturated my engine, engine bay and underneath side of my vehicle making it a fire hazard and completely unreliable by running it low on oil and allowing debris into the engine. They cut the oring on the oil dipstick (I have pics) to place blame on the dipstick rather than make the situation right. Hyundai customer service did not care to fix the situation either. I cannot drive this vehicle with any confidence because it could catch on fire.

Great Truck

Excellent gas milage. Very comfortable ride. Gets looks from almost everyone. So glad I chose it over the Ford Maverick! The truck is perfect for me for what purpose I needed it for. I absolutely love the safety features. I am 100% satisfied.

Hyundai’s Least Bold Offering

The Santa Cruz is simply an ‘okay’ vehicle- it feels like the only risk Hyundai took was the exterior styling. The tonneau cover is very nice and the bed is ample enough for what Hyundai advertises it as. The interior and power train, however, are simply ‘safe’ and the fuel efficiency is a joke for a company with more efficient offerings in other vehicles. The interior is nothing special and while the 281 horsepower is a nice addition, it feels like an unnecessary option for a “Sport Adventure Vehicle”. I would trade that in a heartbeat for a hybrid/PHEV option. As is, I’m trading in for a Rivian in the next few months. The Santa Cruz is a polarizing vehicle based on appearance and Hyundai knew it would be- it’s incredibly different from anything on the road or offered today. I believe that they should’ve embraced that- I can’t think of a reason why this thing couldn’t have been a hybrid offering as well. Be bold, Hyundai!

Beautiful truck but needs more quality on small important details

Interir material details must have higher quality. Outside trims are loose. Screen control from radio turns black randomly. Door films are peeling off . Cabin is loud when driving. Look of this truck is beautiful and so far motor is decent along transmission.
