NICE RIDE FOR THE MONEY HAS FEATURES OF A SMALL PICK UP WITH RIDE OF A MIDSIZE CAR MILEAGE COULD BE BETTER AND RIDE NOISE IS A LITTLE EXCESSIVE WISH THE OUTSIDE BLACK PLASTIC TRIM FIT BETTER AND WAS MORE DURABLE

Great truck

I can't say anything bad about my Santa Cruz, it's just about the best vehicle I have ever owned. Drove it from Indiana to Oregon and back no problems in the mountains or the desert, when I did the same thing in my Jeep Cherokee it felt like the transmission was struggling to keep up.

Transmission

I bought a brand new 2023 santa cruz Limited. Had it for about 17 months, put just under 17,000 miles on it when the check engine light came on, diagnostic code was for the transmission. Took it to the dealer, they put a new transmission in it, covered under warranty. Took the dealer 7 weeks to complete the work, with no updates until about 5.5 weeks after dropping it off. I also had to come put of pocket for a rental vehicle until the dealer could provide a loaner vehicle. Currently awaiting reimbursement for the rental vehicle. Other than that it's a nice truck.

I am happy at this point of time with my vehicle. You need to lower the Minimum characters required for this summary. If I am that unhappy with the vehicle I would be on the phone and at the dealership all the time.

Un vehiculo con un buen diseño y estilo pero con problemas que no resuelven en el dealer

El vehiculo desde nuevo presenta problemas con la transmisión, se queda sin fuerza. La he llevado 6 ocasiones y dicen que es un comportamiento normal de la guagua. En adición el sunroof tiene problemas, se queda sin funcionar en ocasiones, también la llevé al dealer y dicen que no se presenta nada irregular.

Santa Cruz best ever

My Santa Cruz looks great as evidenced by the number of people who ask me about it. The enginering of the power train is simply inspired on my turbo charged 8 speed Limited vershion. The driving mode selector makes good use of this power train.

Night Edition is great

I love my Night Edition Santa Cruz. The gas milage is great and the truck is not too small or too big to make if fun. I wish I had gotten the leather seats but I got seat covers so that did not become a problem

Absolutely love this truck!

I'm very satisfied with my Santa Cruz Limited. The power from the 2.5L Turbo is more than adequate for spirited driving. The ride and handling is very car like, firm while not being truck like. The interior is quite luxurious, with heated and ventilated leather seats and a heated leather covered steering wheel. There are numerous safety and driver assist features that are standard on the truck. Overall, this is probably the best vehicle that I've owned so far in my life.

Fun to drive

Need more attention in rear seating. A rear seat center arm rest would have been nice and at over 39 thousand dollars rear vent controls should have been standard. Also would have nice to have rear window auto control option

Front bucket seats could be made more comfortable and please more colors than what options are given, wiper blades could be made better they leave streaks,the truck bed could be just a little bit longer

This is a great performing vehicle. It is comfortable and reliable for traveling long distance. Ampel room for transporting in the bed, especially for smaller load for gardening or groceries. I own the 2023 Hyundai Santa Cruz Limited.

I have owned 13 brand new vehicles and by far this is the best one yet. Love the turbo engine and towing capacity and the ride is great. Good fuel economy for a turbo. Lots of nice safety features and use the surround view camera every time I park. Love the looks of it too. One doesn't think of a truck (or sport adventure vehicle) being sporty looking but it is.

Great Vehicles

Have many Hyundia's. All have been very reliable and good value. The Santa Cruz has great styling for a small truck. Steering is light and east to use. Only three things I wish were added: 1. Auto dimming rear view mirror as standard. 2.Santa Cruz had remote tailgate open on key fob but needs one inside the cab. 3. Really needs a hybrid to be perfect.

Bedcover Fiasco

This is a cool and competent little vehicle for light hauling and outdoor use. Unfortunately, Hyundai didn't competency test the bedcover. Cute roll-up design, but leaks. Keeps nothing out. Water, sleet, snowmelt, dirt, dust, everything in the bed will get infused with whatever is in the air.
