Quite fun to drive and very practical.
We like having 3 vehicles, and we already have a Tucson and Ram pickup. I traded a Mustang for the Santa Cruz as I needed something a little easier to get in and out of. I'd considered a Jeep Wrangler (not easier to get in and out of) and a Ford Maverick. Ultimately I chose the Santa Cruz due to the options on the limited package. It also dives very much like the 22 Tucson we already have. It is AWD and Turbo charged, so it has plenty of power. We don't often have anyone in the rear seats, but we both can move forward for the rare times that'll occur. I suppose I might have found a Maverick with all the options I got on this one, but I do like the style a little bit better and I enjoy the ride. I think in the long run the Hyundai will outlast the Ford. I only gave it 4 stars because even with all the options it does have, there is not a power passenger seat, no front or rear parking sensors, and no drop-down arm rest in the rear. The short bed in wonderful, especially with the roll top cover.
