Performance of the Hyundai Santa Fe Sport

I was impressed with the exterior design of the Hyundai Santa Fe Sport, I decided to take it for a test drive. I became more impressed with the interior design and the performance of the vehicle. I purchased the 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport 2.0 T/C. When I decide to trade it in to get a newer SUV, it will be a 202? Burn's Hyundai Santa Fe Sport. I am very pleased in dealing with Burn's Honda and Burn's Hyundai Dealerships. The staff at these Dealerships are courteous, knowledgeable and professional. They make purchasing a vehicle a pleasurable experience. I would like to take this moment to say "To the Burn's Dealerships, thank you and keep up the good work".

Very good vehicle for family

It does everything you would expect from a mini-van in crossover clothing. I wish it looked different than every other crossover on the road. Parked next to GM on one side and Nissan on the other side. All the exact same color and from 20' away couldn't tell them apart.

2014 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport Quality Control

See Pros and Cons Below. Nice styling, pretty comfortable ride but quality control is a problem. I've had engine issues, A/C lines require replacement ($900), Sway Bars need to be replaced (($500 plus). Fortunately the engine is under warranty and Hyundai has extended the warranty due to engine issues.

2014 2.0 T

We purchased 2 Hyundai's almost the same day. My wife is the principal driver on the Santa Fe 2.0T. the T stands for time to go. Acceleration is awesome and much better then the N/A engine and she is a heavy foot driver. We have had some issues. The longest on going one that seems to be fixed after the software change recall was an intermittent C0303 engine code. We tried everything from spark plugs,coil packs, checking wire harness but it still would come back. It's been several weeks and the code has not returned but don't know what damage was done internally after going through that issue. Car would shake then smooth out in the morning and through the code but smooth out after a minute or two . One of the most recent issues was the backup camera stopped working and after that repair we noticed the AC was not working and the dealership replace a AC tube . How it broke we don't know. Over all we love the car plenty of room,great features and fast . We would recommend getting one. Also get the extended warranty.

Love my Hyundai

I love my Hyundai Santa FE this is my second one. I love this car it can transport a lot like a truck. It rides smoothly it’s a four cylinder turbo. It gets on the freeway when I need to accelerate the power is there. I get nothing but compliments when someone rides in my car. Very happy with my car.

We love our Hyundai Santa Fe Sport.

This is our second Hyundai Santa Fe. Our first Santa Fe Sport. We love it. We loved the first one also. We recommend it to everyone. Best vehicle we've ever had. Some blind spots, but warning beeps and back up screen help.

Hyundai Santa Fe Sport 2014

I've had my Hyundai Santa Fe since 2014 and I especially do almost all the services that are require. My vehicle has 123,000 + and still going. Runs real good and smooth. The reason is I do all maintenance so I'm not on the highway breaking down. So far so good. This vehicle is a very dependably and reliability car. And in the future I would definitely buy another Hyundai again. Love the Hyundai family of vehicles.

Excellent, well made, and reliable vehicle

Our Santa Fe Sport turbo is 5 years old and drives like new. Feels very solid and has been trouble free. We drive it every day and enjoy it in all weather conditions. My only issue is the solid suspension that is too harsh over bumpy streets all too common these days, but it does seem to be getting a bit better and I understand later models are softer. Comfortable seats with nice backrest adjustment. Outward visibility is better than many other cars of this type.

My Santa Fe.

My wife bought me a Santa Fe sport when I became disabled. It is a lot easier to handle than my truck and I have no trouble getting in and out of it. I worked in the car business for close to 30 years and have worked at dealerships in the service department, so know whether a car has recall issues etc. All in all a great vehicle!!

Love my Santa Fe

I was fortunate enough to get a Santa Fe that was loaded with so many great features. Power everything, sunroof, heated/air condition seats, pin stripe, pearl paint, and on! I love the drive, great size for me. Thanks Hyundai!

Very nice SUV

This is a very well thought out vehicle. Controls are straight forward and conveniently located. Ride is good on city roads and highways. Rear visibility is fair but blind spot monitoring is very helpful.

My santa fe has not given me any problems....it is comfortable and a great car....i have taken it in for its service and any updates hyundai lets me know about so that i can get them done and keep the car in working condition....I know that my next car is going to be another hyundai.

Great!

We do a lot of traveling to see our family and the Santa Fe is very comfortable and reliable. We especially like the heated seats and the lane departure safety features. We also find the back up camera very helpful.

Love my car!

This is my third brand new Santa Fe since 2002. I love the way it handles and it’s a comfortable ride as a passenger. The heated seats are a definite plus in winter months or on chilly mornings. The lane change indicators are a real asset, especially when a vehicle is in your blind spot. I can’t imagine driving any other vehicle. The pick-up, highway gas mileage, and overall handling make the Santa Fe Sport a pleasure to drive!

I love my Santa Fe and I know that if I am ever in the position to buy another one I most definitely will! It is comfortable and great in all weather settings. I feel it is a very safe vehicle for me and my family to travel in.

Alot to like but alot of annoyance too

This vehicle is nice to look at and has some good qualities but many quirks. Fluke things that go wrong. Interior materials not the best. Seats keep breaking down. The electric system.went out a couple times. Something blew.out a couple time and scared the heck out of me. I've been towed a lot.

Vehicle pros and cons

Overall good design. The shortcomings identified save only a small amount in the overall manufacturing cost of the vehicle but are very irritating. The view of the front passenger should not depend on the model of the Santa Fe selected.

Best Dealership ever!

Welcome's, Good to see you's, Hug's and all around smiles are what you get at DeMontrond, you really are treated like family! Since purchasing my Santa Fe at DeMontrond in 2015, I have continued my scheduled maintenance there, and I am glad I do because I receive the best care for my Santa Fe. When I purchased my Santa Fe, DeMontrond was the best place to do so, they have 'Warranty Forever'. Most my think it doesn't matter, but it does. It is well worth it, because I recently had to take advantage of it and they honor it completely. I will continue all my future purchases with DeMontrond to have "Peace of Mind" !
