2014 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport Turbo AWD Continues to Impress After Six Years and 105,000 Miles.
I bought this vehicle new in October of 2014. I wanted this because looked great, I had a previous Hyundai which was a gem with no issues, it had plenty of spunk at 262 hp in a light package. My other summer car is a Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo. The Santa Fe is so much fun to drive, the Nissan sits in the garage way too much. Everything about this car impresses me still. It is quiet, fast, handles terrifically, is great on ice and snow. The paint is very durable, as is the car. The only issues I have had in 105,000 miles is the gas cap release failed, and I had the blower fan motor replaced because of a slight hum (60000 mile warranty covered both items). That is better than any non-Hyundai automobile I have ever owned.
I will buy another one if I ever wear this one out. My only disappointment is they detuned the 2.0 Turbo to a lower horsepower and took some of the fun out of it. My Nissan 300ZX TT is happy about that!
