2014 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport Turbo
I love this car. I looked at a Lexus & Toyota but I got MORE features for significantly less and with a much better maintenance and warranty plan than Lexus. The style and interior are very similar to Lexus. I like the burled wood look on dash, leather & dual auto adjustable seats comfortable for my 5'2" size and husband's 6' size. I like having the Turbo for Interstate merging & passing and my husband loves it in general! It is easy to get in and out of for both of us. It easily holds my road bike without having to put a rack on the back, and with the back hatch floor mat I haul all our spring and fall plants without a worry. It holds lots of luggage and my husband never complains about back pain during long trips in this car. The tinted windows keep the glare down and interior much cooler on hot summer days. Navigation system is easy to see and read and usually spot on. Blue tooth for audio books and my The heated and cooled seats are GREAT but the heated steering wheel is awesome on cold winter days. I get about 33 mph on long cross-country road trips and 25 mph going to a from work. It does have a blind spot but we added extra view mini-angle mirrors on the side mirrors which helps eliminate the blind spot. At the time I bought this car the auto mirrors and tailgate lift were only available on the Limited but perhaps is available on this model now. Sometimes on rainy, or snowy days the autostart app from my phone cannot get a signal- the days I want it most! Otherwise, the auto control app works well for my needs and starts and cools the car on hot days as I leave work. Overall, Very satisfied with this car.
