2017 Sante Fe Sport 2.0T Limited
This model is an attractive looking SUV and has stood the test of time. Overall: the drive is OK. The seats are comfortable and the overall visibility is very good. Performance is OK, but you need to put it into sport to get some decent acceleration; eco is great for overall town driving, but the car feels very heavy and pulling off the line take a good part of the rev range. Couple of issues continue to annoy me and ones the dealer has made no attempt to correct. When you reverse, the mirror dip as they should, but only the passenger side returns to the previous setting, whereas I need to adjust the driver's myself. It doesn't always happen, but more does more often than not. Also annoying is feedback when you make a call through Apply Play - not sure whose fault that is - Hyundai or Apply.
Ventilation is good in the front, but poor in the back. The infotainment system is horrible. Take ages to connect bluetooth or Apply Play and the touch screen is pretty rubbish.

Would I buy another one. Debatable. The infotainment system needs to be really good and the car cannot feel so heavy. I see in the new model, BHP is reduced by 5hp, hope torque is up on the old model? It needs it. Hyundai are getting better. This is my 3rd Santa Fe and each time they do get better, but there is a lot of choice now, so innovation and having the ability to update systems within existing cars is crucial.
