Just what I needed
I truly love everything about this vehicle, but what I love most is the comfort. The reason? It gave me back my ability to drive for an extended period. I have serious back issues. Every vehicle I tried always put my back and legs in an uncomfortable position when driving for more than 15-20 minutes not only making my back hurt but causing shooting pain into my leg and foot. I was driving an Infiniti G37 Sedan Sport. Comfort was critical in a new car. My husband suggested looking at another Infiniti, Acuras, Toyotas, Hondas, etc. I told him I wanted to try a Hyundai Santa Fe. Consumer Reports gave it glowing marks for reliability and safety, and the features looked like what I needed in the seat adjustability and comfort department. I also really liked the price. I could get an SUV totally kitted out in the latest technologies and top safety and reliability ratings at a reasonable price. I love everything about it. It has the power I want and need to climb the mountains around Birmingham. The gas mileage is certainly better than my Infiniti was. I can take my dogs in their crates safely wherever we needed to go (another must). But I can now drive from one side of Birmingham to the other in peak traffic on the infamous 280 and not want to cry the hour and a half it takes to get home. I love the Apple CarPlay ability which was a new feature at the time I purchased my Santa Fe that luxury lines didn’t universally have. I love the driver modes because I travel curvy two-lane country roads to get home. The Sports mode is perfect for extra stability in the curves.
Thank you for designing my perfect automobile with every luxury imaginable at an affordable price. I recommend the Santa Fe to anyone who asks how I like mine. My only request is I’d love to have a passenger seat with the same driver’s seat features. Sometimes I’m the passenger. ?
