Hyundai Santa Fe Sport Ultimate

In January, 2018 at the age of 53, I decided to purchase my first new vehicle. My brother, who had just purchased a Hyundai on the east coast recommended I take one for a test drive. I did and bought a Santa Fe Sport. I took my 94 year old mom with me to pick it up and before driving it off the lot, I upgraded to a Santa Fe Sport Ultimate! Why? My mom loved the moon roof, which allows beautiful natural light to fill the interior. I believe this helped her aging eyes see better. Another bonus is the powered front passenger seat. Mom, who stands only 4 feet 9 inches, can just push the button, lower the seat and slide in and out. Once in the car, with a easy push of a button, she can raise herself up and see over the dash and out the front window! I love my Santa Fe Sport for may reasons, mostly because it is roomy. I can transport 5 adults to dinner; slide 6 foot tables in and out of the back with ease; and load up for camping and still have room for the husband and the dog! My husband and I also enjoy the clear crisp sound system and climate controlled interior which makes driving, even in the crazy traffic of Southern California, a pleasure! And mom was right, the moon roof is pretty sweet... I take my Santa Fe Sport to North County Hyundai of Carlsbad for regular service and monthly complimentary exterior washes to keep it looking shiny and new! Staff are always friendly and professional and service is always timely and thorough. Thank you Hyundai for developing awesome vehicles at an amazing values and for creating "Hyundai Family" atmosphere! best "road car" i have ever owned !

My 2018 Hyundai Sport has exceeded all my expectations ! for a full sized SUV to get 30 MPG highway is "unheard of" I have been a traveling sales representative in the textile and home furnishings trade for 40 years and have owned 25 + cars ( new and used ) I have tried them all ! Acura / Buick / Chevrolet / dodge / Ford/ Honda / Mercury / Peugeot / Volvo Nothing compares to the ride - reliability - and overall comfort -- + unbelievable gas milage and perfect electoonics

Excellent

Great car all the way around....from roomy interior to the quiet engine and great gas mileage. This is my forth Santa Fe and each one is better then the last. Anxious to see the new 2020 models. I have heard they are larger inside and out compared to my current 2018.

Just what we wanted!

We looked at every crossover vehicle from every major car maker. The small crossovers left us feeling suffocated and lacking cargo room, the larger SUVs were just too big. The Santa Fe was the perfect size for our needs and we have been very pleased with it so far. We anticipate many happy memories of our family with this car and its spacious interior and plentiful cargo room while maintaining a medium sized feel. This is the best crossover in the market!

Sante Fe Sport

our 2014 Sante Fe sport was a great vehicle with virtually no problems had it for 3 years and put about 93,000 miles on it ,and so far our 2018 Sante Fe sport has done very good except for the tire problems that your service department took care of for us.We are expecting the same dependable service on this one

The good and the bad

Decent gas mileage, good power for a 4 cylinder. Phone hookup to indash screen works good for calls and GPS. I realize this is not a luxury vehicle, but seats could be a little more comfortable, okay on short trips, not so on long trips. At higher speeds car wants to "wander" a bit, so more alertness is required--could be from lighter weight??? Suggestions: 1. Add capability to read/write texts without the wire hookup requirement. 2. You could increase sales of ANY Hyundai product by adding a complete digital dash (See the Audi for how it's done--their's is really good, but could be much better--I'll do the complete specs and instructions for free (I'm a retired computer guru)))).

Love my Hyundai Sante Fe Sport

This is my third Sante Fe. They are safe, reliable vehicles. I have two Sonatas and an Elantra also in the family. All our Hyundai's have been reliable and have never had problems with them. The warranties are excellent! Any issues I have had have always been covered. I will always drive a Hyundai.

I love this vehicle, the controls are laid out very nicely and there is plenty of room, ride is nice and the duel climate zones has lead to world peace between my wife and I while on trips. The back seat has plenty of leg room for adult passengers.

I love my Santa Fe Sport. It is so much fun to drive. It has so many wonderful features, many of which I am still learning. It's the best car I have ever had. It is very good on gas and has such a smooth drive. I love the sun roof. Overall it is a dream car.

Sporty, fun to drive!

My Santa Fe handles smoothly and is so much fun to drive. It isn’t too large, yet has lots of cargo area to transport things. Quiet and comfortable ride. The leather seats are nice and I like the adjustable seats. It’s a good value for the priceI love my Santa Fe SUV!

My new 2018 Hyundai Sante Fe Sport

I love this vehicle, it does everything but cook, lol. If I read the vehicle book it might do that too. Great ride and comfortable seating. Gas mileage better on highway than in town. I love the red, very classy, interior beige, keeps it cooler. Stereo wonderful,, love the blue line. Built very well.

I really enjoy driving my Santa Fe, I have hauled furniture in, it was easier for my wheelchair bound husband to get in and out of. Has very good gas mileage. It is very easy to park and I like the review back up camera, very handy.

2018 Santa Fe Sport

The overall rating the car is very good. The only negative is that I was somewhat disappointed with the exterior sound the ride/tires make. The overall quality of the car is very good, maybe I should have bought the bigger Santa Fe, it is probably a quieter sounding ride.

Love this car

This is my second Hyundai Santa Fe Sport. I was driving a Toyota Highlander a few years ago, but switched to the Santa Fe. The ride is very quiet, has many great features, but especially like the heated and ventilated seats, and panoramic sunroof. The cargo area is the right size for 4 golf bags, or for hauling plants and bags of top soil from the garden center. The only issue is this: make sure you get the turbo. Changing from a 6 cylinder Highlander to a 4 cylinder was a noticeable difference - - until I drove the turbo. This car has a lot of jump.

Santa fe

I am so in love with this car. I have been on 2 road trips and the Santa Fe performed excellent on the road. The quiet and smooth ride is unbeatable. The security of knowing you have a reliable vehicle with such a great warranty. If I were Liness, I guess this car would be my blanket.

Try as I may, I can not get the seat adjusted the way I like it. It's too high in front. And, the seat could be a little wider - you would think with all the room in the front they could make the sat wider
